Mikaela's POV:

      I'm naglalakad ng tahimik towards my car now dito sa parking. I couldn't manage to smile dahil sa mga sinabi ni Dr. Vallejos kanina. Alam ko namang it sounds bad 'yung mga rumors kaya lang why does he have to react that way. He's so affected, as if namang malalaman ni Sofia ang lahat ng 'yon.

      Bubuksan ko na sana ang pinto ng car ko when somebody grabbed my hand kaya nagulat ako, and it's him, it's Kaiden.

"Mika, let's talk." He seriously said.

"About what?"

"About what I said earlier. Listen to me."

"Why do you have to explain? Everything was clear. I do understand and there's nothing you have to worry about. I am fine, I'll be fine. Just give me time and everything will turn out fine. I can accept rejections, Dr. Vallejos."

"Mikaela, don't say that. It's not a rejection, I just don't want to put your name in my personal life. Everyone knows that Sofia's my girlfriend, then bad thoughts will come in their minds that I am cheating on her, and that I'm using you. I just don't want to be that kind of a man." He said.

"Kaiden Joshua, I am not affected with those nasty rumors. You're just making it a big deal. We're not doing anything wrong. We're just friends. Friends na nga lang bawal pa rin? What kind of rule was that? Is it a big factor in democracy? I can't believe it."

       Sa sobrang inis ko di ko namalayan na tumutulo na naman ang luha ko. I hate it when my anger turns into tears. I can't hold back.

"Do I have to make an announcement that we're just friends para pwede na akong lumapit sayo? Why do we have to put ourselves up to this point? What's wrong with being friends?" I said while crying.

      He silently placed his hand on my cheeks and wiped my tears. Every woman will fall for him because of his actions. Sa sobrang gentleman niya, who wouldn't be? Who will hesitate?

"Stop crying... I got your point." He said but I can't stop crying. "Sshhh."

       Bigla na lang niya akong niyakap while tapping my head that made me cry more. When someone tried to comfort me, mas lalo akong naiiyak. I could feel his sincerity. Pakiramdam ko, importante akong tao.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, "I'm sorry for making you cry."

Vanna's POV:

       I am waiting inside Kuya's car at this moment. Nagpahatid ako kay Kuya Baste dito sa parking lot ng hospital to wait for him na lang para sabay kaming umuwi. Yes, hindi niya alam na nandito ako sa loob ng car niya ngayon. And I was so shocked of what I saw. He's hugging a pretty lady and it's not Ate Sofia. Is she a mistress?! Omg. No. I'll confront him later. I captured few photos pa nga e.

       When I saw him smiling to the girl and waved at her na, naglakad na siya towards here. I think okay na sila 'nung girl. I am so curious right now, who's that?

"Anak ng-- Vanna? Why are you here? Ginulat mo naman ako."

"Why? Am I not allowed to enter your car?" I said and crossed my arms.

"Bakit mo ako inantay dito? Hindi ka sinundo ni Kuya Baste?"

"He fetched me. Kaya lang nagpahatid ako dito para sabay tayong umuwi. And I am able to witness these scenes." Ipinakita ko sa kanya ang mga photos nila sa phone ko. "You have to explain something, Kuya."

       He just took a deep breath and started the engine. We're tahimik lang sa byahe when he decided to break the silence.

"She's just a friend." He said.
