#CHAPTER THREE
"This is why homophobia is a terrible evil: it disguises itself as concern while it is inherently hate."
Chloe was early and she wants to have an exchange seat with Aubrey who's busy scribbling to her notebook but she thinks it's a bad idea to be rude at Stacie.
She wants to avoid her because she's a... lesbian—she wasn't a homophobic for the record—and her father would be mad at her if he finds out that she's being close with homosexuals.
But Stacie is a nice person that she will regret to avoid with if she does so she didn't. It will not make sense at all. Her father won't know anything about it if she won't tell him anyway.
Beca entered the room, as usual, she had her earphones on but there's something wrong with her face. She looked at her carefully using her eyes alone for them not to notice her staring at the brunette. She noticed a bruise beside her lips, her eyes swollen like she slept crying.
"Told you. She's a bad influence." Aubrey whispered to Chloe that startled the other woman, making her looked away. "She's getting involved with fist fights even she's a girl."
Chloe knew there's something wrong. It's not what Aubrey think it was, Beca was still okay last night. She has no bruises anywhere, even on the face like that.
Did her father hit her?
After their classes, Beca immediately went outside the room and Chloe didn't fight the urge to follow her. She wasn't concern, she does want to know what had happened. She told the others that she was going home already.
Chloe just followed the brunette, she then noticed she's not going home instead she's going to a... club.
Oh no.
She still followed her but when she was about to enter, she was being blocked by the bouncer and asking her how old she was.
She told the truth that made her not allow to enter the club.
She stayed there for an half hour now but Beca's not yet going out, she's trying to figure out how to enter the club now without them noticing her.
Suddenly a man came in front of her, she's not wearing uniform but she could notice her face. She knew him, of course. Who would forget exes?
