Who Can You Trust?

Akoni sits up waiting for her friend to climb through the window. Jasmine has been with Cash almost every day since they met. Akoni doesn't voice her opinion, just to stay out the any drama with her only friend.

Jasmine sneaks through the opened window. Trying her best not to make any noise.

Akoni jumps up helping her friend. When the light hits Jasmine's face Akoni could see a hand print out lined. Akoni goes to touch it but Jasmine's backs up.

"Just don't Akoni. It was my fault. But hey guess what we are doing tomorrow?"

"What?"

She pulls out a black card.

"He told me the money is unlimited. I'm allowed to get you and I what we want and need. So we are going on a spree tomorrow"

"Are you sure?"

"Girl yes, that man loves me. He said he can't have his girl and her friends looking all kind of ways. Anyway I'm about to wash then go to sleep"

Akoni nods her head, still not liking the idea of spending the man's money.  She thinks, he has to have a motive to just be handing Jasmine a unlimited card. He wants something in return.

She curls up in her bed falling asleep with unanswered questions running through her mind.

The next morning the girls get up extra early to do the cleaning then breakfast. Miss Sally comes in looking the two girls over.

"Jasmine let me speak to you for a moment"

The girls look at eachother for a moment before Jasmine was off with her. Akoni sneaks behind the listening in on there conversation.

"I know you've been going with that man"

Jasmine doesn't respond she just looks wide eyed.

"How much money has he giving you"

"300"

Here's really given her 3000 since they have been talking. He notices she hadn't bought any thing new with the money so he figured she just be saving it. That's why he have her his card

"You give me 150, and there will be no punishment. Every time he gives you a nice lump sum you give me half.

"Yes mam"

"Where are y'all planning to go since y'all are never up this early"

"To the mall"

"Ok that's fine I'll see you girls later"

Akoni races back to kitchen like she's been there the entire time. Jasmine comes back telling Akoni let's go.

They catch the bus to the mall. Akoni still feels uneasy about the situation.

Jasmine seen she wasn't picking anything up so she begin shopping for her. Getting clothes, shoes, etc. They get there hair and nails done.

"Yo baby"

Jasmine turns around running in the arms of Cash. He picks her up kissing her on the lips. Akoni looks away the age gaped couple.

"You spending all my money back girl"

"No daddy, just a little here and there"

"Ain't no problem, you know I'm just fucking with you sweetheart. I'm going to let you go. Ill see you later right?"

"Yes baby, Miss Sally said I could see you as long as I pay her"

He opens his wallet giving her 4 crisp 100 dollar bills. He looks at Jasmine before he touches the mark that's still lingering on her face.

"I'm sorry"

"I know, it's alright. I'll see you later"

He kisses her before walking off. My question is how the hell did he know where we were. Where does he get so much money from?

She skips to me with a huge smile on her face. We finish our day getting food and snacks then heading back to the house. When we get there we race to our room. Jasmine goes to her stash spot grabbing 150 out. She puts 200 from earlier back. She goes down stairs giving Miss Sally 350. She smiles before patting her on the head.

Jasmine goes to wash so she can get ready for tonight.

Akoni is laying on her bed in her head. Mr Walker stops mopping as he looks at the young girl. Akoni feels eyes on her. She looks at him getting a uneasy feeling. She's never liked the older man. He was just plain creepy to her. He tips his head with a smirk on his face before starting his cleaning again. Jasmine comes out in a red dress and mid heels. Her hair is in a French braid. Her body has developed into a grown woman despite her age.

"You look really pretty Jas"

"Thank you, I'm about to go I'm still coming through the window tonight. Make sure you lock the door when I leave. I think Mr Walker is staying the night"

"Ok but you be safe"

"Always"
