"Have you seen Akoni?"

"She's been locked up the room with Kayo for two days now. Where the hell you been?"

"Had to free myself from my past so I can move on to my future"

"That's deep"

"Nigga you just high. Where Shay and baby?"

"In the room trying to get her to sleep. You realize her name is not baby right?"

He shoos me off while walking away to answer his phone.

I make my way back my room to give Shay a sandwich and chips. I stop for a moment to look at my little family. I'm blessed to say the least. We have a ways to go to get back how we were. But she's worth it.

She notices me by the door smiling gently at me before motioning me to come to her.

Stirring the sandwich down on the night stand.

"What's on your mind?"

"She taking a moment to think that I'm a lucky man"

"I'm lucky to have you too baby. Have y'all found a bigger house yet?"

"I don't think so, whenever Akoni decides to come out the room I'll ask"

Boom!

Grabbing Shay dropping to the floor with her. My ears are ringing. I can't hear anything. I see Shay screaming and crying with blood trickling down her face.

Grabbing her up pushing her and the baby in her arms towards the exit. I see Cherry on his knees while holding his ears. Fire is everywhere. Kayo comes rushing out with a knocked out Akoni in his arms. She has blood coming from her temple. The doors are enticed with flames. Glass is everywhere broken items along  here and there.

The smoke is getting in my lungs making me cough continuesly with out stopping. Only thing on my mind is to get out of here before it's too late.

Kayo and I lock eyes. The fire is out of control. He nods his head to follow him. The ceiling is beginning to cave in. He grabs the water hose from the kitchen sink getting burned in the process. He puts the water on my baby first, then Akoni,Cherry,Shay then us. He picks Akoni up going back to the living room. But he has to put the down again to kick the door down.

(I forgot the babies name my bad y'all. I smoke to much so her name is Bella)

Putting Bells underneath my shirt. Shay wraps her arms around me to secure her, then I grab Cherry that looks like he is about to pass out and we run as best as we can through the fire.

I can see fire trucks in the distance but I still can't hear anything. Grabbing Bella, I look her over making sure she is ok. Just a few dirt marks on her face. Kayo is giving Akoni mouth to mouth but she's not responding.

The firetruck and ambulance pull up taking Akoni away to put her on oxygen on the way to the hospital.

They take all of us in different trucks of course I put up a fight, since they are trying to separate us. They finally let me with Shay and the baby. I don't care about nothing right now but is my sister ok.

"Who the fuck did this and why?"
