Sticky Notes: V.D Special

Valentine's day special

I was tired and exhausted from my day at work. I had loads to do, but I went through with it. On the bright side, it's Valentine's Day!

I gave Robert his gifts before I left for work, because I knew I was going to be late to come home.

I opened the door to my house, and closed the door behind me. I went to place my keys onto the table but I noticed there was a sticky note that was in it's space.

I furrowed my eyebrows curiously, and picked it up. It read...

They day I met you, I knew we were meant for each other...

I smiled, and looked around. I knew Robert put this here.

I took off my coat and I walked towards the staircase. There was sticky notes all across the wall.

As I walked up each stair, I read them. I took the first one off the wall.

I couldn't take my eyes off of you, and my heart couldn't stop skipping beats...

Second sticky note.

I feel like no one or anything else exists when I'm around you...

Third sticky note.

You are my beacon of light in my forest of darkness, my muse, and my love...

Fourth sticky note.

You bring out the best in me, and I don't know who I'll even be without you...

Fifth.

Whenever I think of you or even hear your name I get butterflies...

Sixth. I was smiling, and my eyes were a little watery.

If life was a movie, then you're the best part...

Seventh.

Your voice is like a song to me and I want to listen to it everyday...

Eighth.

You are my best friend, my everything, and the only person that really means so much to me...

Nineth.

You say you want the world, but you deserve the universe...

Tenth.

Whenever I think of my future, I always see you in it...

I reached the top of the stairs, and the last sticky note had a arrow on it. I walked to the bedroom, and I saw the bedroom door had the last sticky note on it.

And for all those reasons, I'll never let you go...

A happy tear threatened to fall down my face. I slowly opened the bedroom door, and there was Robert.

He stood near the bed that had rose pedals on it in a shape of a heart, with chocolates in the middle. Robert held a heart ballon, and flowers.

"Happy Valentine's Day baby." He said, smiling widely. I ran over to him and gave him a big hug.

"Happy Valentine's Day babe." I said, hugging him tightly. "Thank you so much. I love you." I looked up at him, and happy tears were flowing down my face.

He wiped my tears away, and kissed me passionately.

"You're welcome baby. I love you too." He said. "But that's not all." Robert walked towards the closet and pulled out a box. He bring it over to me.

"Open it honey." Robert said. We sat down on the bed, and I opened it. My eyes went wide, and I covered my mouth out of happiness.

He got me (something you've always wanted).

"Oh my god!" I said, I looked at him.

"You like it?" He asked.

"Like it? I LOVE it!" I said excitedly. I pulled him into another hug. We fell back, and I was on top of him.

"You're the best." I smiled, and gave him a kiss.

"I know." Robert said, and I giggled. He kissed my forehead. "Hey, wanna play some Xbox?"

"So I can kick your butt in some Fortnite?" I said, smirking.

"Nope. I'll kick your butt." He replied. I got off of him, and I began to run. He ran after me.

"We'll settle this once and for all!" I said, giggling as I ran.

"Fine, meet me in the tilted towers!" He chased me downstairs.

Time skip...

I was on the couch with Robert, and it was really late. The Xbox controllers were near us on the floor, and chip bags were everywhere.

Robert stopped playing after a while since I kept winning in PvP. Right now, he was lightly snoring next to me, getting some rest.

My head was on his chest, and I was snuggled in a light blanket.

I never had a Valentine's Day quite like this one, but by far this was the best Valentine's.

I absolutely love Robert and he really is the best boyfriend a girl can ask for. I looked over at him, and gave a light smile.

"I love you baby..." I whispered, giving him a kiss on the cheek. I laid my head back on his chest, and closed my eyes. Today was a amazing day.
