I couldn't get that conversation out of my mind. She sounded like she was actually sorry. I know what Kat did but I can't hold grudges. I just can't.
"Colby?"
"Yes Sam?" Colby says turning around in his chair. He looks at me as I sit on the bed.
"I'm gonna call her....I can't hold grudges against people. I just can't." I say messing with my fingers, "I'm sorry." I say looking at Colby.
"It's okay Sam. Do what you need to do." Colby says turning around.
"Your not mad?" I say quietly.
"No of course not." Colby says turning back around, "you are allowed to do what you want. Do I personally trust her as of right now, no but I'm not mad that you want to try."
"Thanks Colbs. I'm going to call her." I say grabbing my phone.
"Hello?"
"Hey Kat....it's Sam."
"Oh Sam, hey. What's up?"
"I was just thinking and I want to give you another chance but I'm still dating Colby okay. We can be friends."
"Yeah. Yeah I know. I agree. Thanks Sam......for thinking about it. It means a lot. Listen I'm not home right now so I'll call you later okay?"
"Yeah seems good. Bye Kat."
"Bye Sam."
