"Lucas!" I exclaimed into my watch, unsure if he could hear me because he had given me no instructions on how to use it. "Listen to me. I swear if you run out there and end up getting hurt... ugh!"

No response. I thought about going out to try and find him but I couldn't leave Ainsley. Quickly I threw a blanket over Ainsley's sleeping body and ran downstairs to the lab. A voice finally came through the watch.

"How do I run fast?" He whined, reminding me of his more immature side.

"Uh just run. But faster. Much much faster. 670,616,629 miles per hour to be exact."

"Emily." He pleaded seriously, putting all of the pressure on me. "I need you."

"Okay, okay. Usually I think about something that makes me really happy and just concentrate on it. Then I imagine what I want to happen in my head." I imagined myself in his spot. What would I do if it were an off day, when my powers were harder to control? "I think about all the people I'll save and have saved. Then I just do it, let my instincts kick in and run."

From the watch came a whoosh, it sounded like he was suddenly in a tornado. After a few seconds the sounds died down to a silence.

"I think I'm going to be sick." He groaned. It must've worked. "How do you do that all the time? Actually it's probably just because I have bad motion sickness."

"Luke. Focus." The stern tone in my voice startled me. I sounded just like Lucas. I was usually the distracted one and he was the one keeping me in line, but now it was the opposite. Luckily tomorrow morning everything would go back to normal.

"Okay, okay. I'm at the museum," He informed me. "Now what? I should go inside right?" This was a mess.

"Uh yeah. You probably should do that and you know, catch him." My patience was beginning to run out. If I had my powers this guy would probably be in prison by now. "See anything?"

"No. I don't hear anything either," He whispered. "Wait, the saber tooth tiger is missing. Who would want to steal a saber tooth tiger?" He went silence before gasping. "Oh god. I found the tiger. How is that even possible?"

I had the news playing on the computer monitor. The screen showed police cars in front of the museum. I saw my mom in the crowd of officers.

"Lucas, get out of there. Now," I warned him, not letting him continue telling me about whatever he saw. "The CCPD is coming in the front, if the real criminal escapes they'll probably blame you for it. Find a back exit and run."

Luckily he followed my orders and soon enough he was back in the lab with me. Except he gripped onto the table trying not to fall over.

"I never want to do that again. How do you not throw up every time?" He asked rubbing his stomach. I shrugged in response. "Sorry. That was not one of my better ideas."

"So what were you saying about the tiger?" He plopped down in his chair and peeled his mask off.

"Oh uh well he was out in the open. And blood was dripping from his teeth. Almost as if it came to life and ate someone. But that's impossible." He spun around in the chair a few times making me wonder how he wasn't getting nauseous from that, but got sick while running. I guess it's a little different.

"Impossible? I don't think anything in this city is impossible anymore," I scoffed, I had seen so many things that should be impossible that I've given up on saying that something's not possible. I decided that I should probably put Ainsley to bed while Lucas changed.
