"Pink or grey?" I asked Cassidy as I held up two dresses. She glanced over at me as she put in her earrings.

"Grey, it matches your eyes." She wore a dark green crop top with a black skirt and a leather jacket. I changed into my grey dress and put on my signature pink converse. I admired my curled hair in the mirror and the way my pink lipstick matched my shoes. The doorbell rang. I ran to get the door. I opened it and smiled at Lucas. He wore a blue button up shirt with a black tie that matched his pants.

"Ready?" He asked. I nodded and Cassidy followed us out the door. We stepped into the elevator and I pulled out my phone to tell my mom we were leaving.

"I'm already tired and we haven't even gotten there yet," I complained making Cassidy smirk.

"Once you start dancing, you'll wake up. Especially with all the guys around." She wiggled her eyebrows. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah a bunch of drunk hot guys trying to get in my pants will really improve my mood." I said, my voice filled with sarcasm.

"You won't have any fun thinking like that!" Cassidy teased. "The guys'll be all over you and it'll be fun, just wait." She winked. I heard Lucas shuffle uncomfortably. She was trying to make him jealous. "Who doesn't love a good girl."

The doors opened and Lucas quickly left, obviously wanting out. I mouthed a thank you to Cassidy. She smirked. Maybe tonight wouldn't be so bad.

Music pounded from inside, loud enough to feel it through your feet. We opened the door and stepped inside the house. A smell of pizza mixed with sweat hit me straight on. I turned to Cassidy who shrugged.

"Welcome to your first real party." She said. Her words had the same meaning as, Welcome to Hell to me. The three of us sat down on the couch near where everyone was dancing. I imagined the headache I would have at the end of the night. Almost immediately Lucas stood up.

"I'm going to go find Kayla and thank her for inviting us." Without letting us respond he left. Yeah tonight would be really fun.

"If I go dance, will you be fine?" Cassidy asked cautiously. I nodded. "Your goal for tonight is to talk to at least one person. Maybe dance a little." I gave her a look that said 'yeah right'. "Just try and have fun, okay?" I shrugged as she stood up and disappeared into the crowd of people.

Bored, I looked around. There had to be like 50 people here, and it definitely felt hot enough for that to be true. I leaned onto my hand as my arm rested on the arm of the couch. I felt someone sitting down next to me.

"You look thirsty, want a drink?" I turned to see a guy holding out a cup. "It's just punch." I didn't want to be rude so I took it. My throat burned as I took a drink. Strangely, I wanted to keep drinking. It hurt but I continued until it was gone. Everything started feeling dizzy like I was spinning.

Next thing I knew, I was drinking from another cup in my hand. Soon that one was gone and another replaced it.

Lucas

"Wait so your sister was Cupid?" I asked in awe. We had never put the pieces together. Amara Bianchi and Kayla Bianchi. She nodded.
