"Hey Flora and Fauna, you see anything?" I asked with a cough. There was a robbery at one of the jewelry stores in the city. But I had to sit this one out because I was a little under the weather. It had been rainy and overcast for almost a week and for some reason it was affecting my powers. I could barely run at human speed let alone the speed of light. So we sent Maddy and Finn out while Lucas and I monitored them from the lab.

"Don't call us that." Maddy complained. That one took me awhile to come up with and I was kinda proud of it. I spun around in my chair as Lucas tried to find a way to access the security cameras. He chuckled.

"Oh we're definitely going to call you that." He said making me smile. I rested my head on his shoulder but unfortunately he pushed me away smirking. "Hey, you're going to get me sick." I frowned.

"I hate being sick." I sniffled, wishing the sun would come out. Sure, we had the solar lamp but it just wasn't the same. I looked at him, crossing my arms. "Well, no kisses for you then." I joked. Lucas was about to protest when we were interrupted.

"God, you guys are gross. At least turn your microphones off if you're gonna flirt." Maddy complained. "Anyway, you need to focus if we're gonna find this guy. So-"

"Wait, do you hear that?" Finn interrupted. "It sounds like crying." We all listened and he was right, it sounded like a bunch of babies were crying. "I'll go check it out."

Lucas got access to the security footage and watched as Finn, who was now a mouse, crept towards the noise. Maddy followed slowly after him.

"Woah guys, what the heck?" Then it was silent. Until the sound of a baby crying filled our ears.

"Finn?" Maddy called and ran where he was. We waited for a response but nobody answered. Lucas tried to find a camera that showed us where they were.

"Oh no." Lucas said. I looked at the computer. There in a pile of green leather was a little baby girl and a little boy next to him. Turning to Lucas, I groaned. The one time I was sick, they just had to get themselves turned into babies. "You stay here, I'll go get them." He insisted, standing up.

"I don't wanna stay here alone." I said, feeling useless.

"You're sick. You're in your pajamas." I looked down at my fuzzy pants with penguins on them. I shrugged. Knowing he wouldn't win, Lucas gave in. We quickly got in the car and drove off to the bank. Police cars sped past us and swerved into the parking lot. Lucas parked next door and using all the energy I had and turned us invisible. We ran inside and found the few babies outside of an open vault. Lucas picked up both babies and we hurried back outside. Police officers ran inside as we opened the doors. My head pounded, any energy I had gone. Lucas set the babies in my lap and they both began crying. I looked at him for help, but he shrugged.

"Shhhh." I tried. It didn't work. They continued wailed. I tried bouncing them on my knees. "Lucas, a little help?!" I asked, getting frustrated.

"Hey, I'm driving!" He exclaimed. "We're almost home." They continued crying, making me want to cry as well. After what felt like an eternity, we pulled into the garage. Lucas opened my door and picked baby Maddy up. Immediately she stopped crying. I looked at him at awe.

"Wait! Turn him off too!" I said holding Finn up to him. Lucas rolled his eyes and didn't take the baby. So I had to try and awkwardly pat Finn's back and hope he calmed down. We walked inside but still Finn was crying. We walked down to the lab and I sat down on the counter. Lucas grabbed blankets as I desperately tried to shut this baby up. He laid them out on the table and he set Maddy down on it. He took Finn from my arms and cradled him. I watched in awe as he began quieting down. Once he was silent, Lucas set him down next to Maddy. I wrapped my arms around his torso, digging my face into his chest. This really wasn't how I wanted to spend my sick day.
