She walked into the room and saw a large chamber. It had stone walls, stone floors, and a stone roof. It was as large as a Quidditch pitch and had walls so high she could comfortably fit two large dragons in here. She smiled rather maliciously, ready to trash the large space.

She held out her hands and fire started spilling out of them. She had seen this many times and automatically recognized it as fiend fyre. One of the animals was a snake and the other a lion. She made them fight and dance, acting like animals in a circus for her own entertainment. She felt like a puppeteer playing with puppets of fire. They were dangerous but that was half the fun for her. The risk of getting burnt gave her an adenine rush like no other. After a while she let the animals die and all thoughts of her parents were forgotten as she made her way back to her dorm room.

It had been a week since that night at Slughorn's party and everything had been normal. She would go on her run, go to classes, spend time with her new group of friends and then go to bed. Every so often she would see that Tom Riddle boy in her classes or around the hallways and they would courteously nod at each other. This would often confuse all other the other students as they never saw Tom Riddle associate with students outside his group of Slytherin boys. It may only be a nod or two but it was the biggest gossip around the school. Rumor spread about a secret relationship or a hidden friendship. Tom Riddle was very aware of these rumors whereas Julietta didn't care for listening to the gossip.

She was sitting in the great hall eating an orange when a year 7 Gryffindor boy approached her and her friends. He was tall and strong with a head of thick brown hair. He was relatively handsome and many girls were smiling flirtingly at him. He stood right in front of her but her eyes never left her orange. He coughed and yet she still kept her eyes on her orange. She grabbed a new orange as she finished her last one. "Julietta Goldwood, will you go out with me?" he asked rather loudly and all eyes were on her. She looked up at him with a stone cold expression that said nothing. "Why?" she questioned and he looked shocked beyond measure. "Because you are really beautiful." he gulped not expecting this reaction at all. She looked up at him and she said: "Beauty is merely an illusion that shatters with time." She threw the orange she was holding up and he caught it instantly being a rather good Quidditch player. She walked out of the room with all eyes on her.

Eileen always being the one to break the awkward silence reasoned "Her soul is far too deep for the like of you, a boy who cannot seem to leave the shallow end. Oh, don't act so surprised you idiotic toerag, she doesn't even know your name for Merlin's sake." This caused everyone in the great hall to laugh while Eileen, Maria, and Jezebel left the great hall. Tom Riddle smiled at how the girl denied Peter Haynes so poetically. A pit of jealousy filled his stomach when he thought about her ever accepting his offer or any offer at that. He didn't know why but he would rather never see that girl in the arms of anyone.

The news of Peter being rejected had died down only slightly in the events of the Quidditch game the next day. That game started in 30 minutes and Jezebel had already abandoned her small group of friends for her Quidditch team. She was far too excited to get a broom between her legs. Eileen, Julietta, and Maria were at breakfast decked out in all their Ravenclaw gear. Julietta, only having been to professional games that her Mother and bother dragged her off to. Her Mother had been passionate about the sport and she had tried to get her children into it. After years of trying with her first and third child, she eventually realized they would never love the sport like her son did and she gave up.

Despite not particularly liking the sport she was excited about this game. They began to make their way to the pitch and the game began. Jezebel and her teammate, Oscar Hill were working extremely well together. They had spent hours and hours perfecting every Quidditch play from the last 300 years of Quidditch. They trained with the team a few times a week and without them every day. They worked together like well-oiled machinery. They grew up together and had been childhood best friends since they were flying around on children's brooms.

It was goal after goal after goal and it this point Slytherin could almost capture two snitches and Ravenclaw would still win. Oscar threw the Quaffle to Jezebel and she flew underneath the keeper and threw it straight into the goal. The keeper turned around confused and that confusion automatically changed into anger when he realized the girl had literally flown right under her radar.

The keeper looked nowhere near as angry as the beater, Canopus Mercier. He was huge and pureblood but he had very bad anger issues. At this point, he was shaking with rage and far too eager to watch Jezebel in pain. He looked at her and planned his attack. Before anyone could doing anything he was flying straight at Jezebel who was looking the other way. She had her head facing one of the towers filled with Ravenclaw and her hands in the air in celebration. Canopus was speeding towards Jezebel and before she could see he was colliding with her.

He smashed into her right onto her shoulder. This caused Jezebel to tumble with him until she began to fall. At some point in the fight she had lost her broom and now she was falling to her death. The Quidditch stadium was filled only with gasps in shock and horror at the incident that just occurred. She didn't claw at the empty air knowing she would fall and die or be saved. Pretending like she can save herself at this point is a ridiculous false hope. She closed her eyes preparing for a possible death.
