Rahul's P.O.V. Continues.......

I just retired on my bed switching on the television, I kept scrolling the channels one after the other nothing seemed to amuse me. It's all about Meera I could think of which I was unable to stop. I heard a knock when I was deeply buried in my thoughts.

'Yes come in' I said.

'Hello bhai!! Hope I am not disturbing you!' said Tanya, my cousin as she opened the door.

'That's okay my dear, get in' I lied when I saw her peeping in.

'Sorry to disturb you bhai! But I felt like chatting with you' she said with a smile.

'Okay, come to the point Tanya!' I said as I was in no mood to talk to my sister.

'Bhai you know what I brought from our Saudi trip?'

'Do I have to know?' I said showing no interest in actually finding out. Tanya could easily find out my disinterest and she immediately said 'Sorry bhai, I'll talk to you later, may be tomorrow. It appears you're not in a good mood!' in a very disappointed tone.

'That's alright, when you've come this far, come here and sit and do share with me what you wanted to' I said tapping on the left side of my bed. I cannot see my cute little sister upset, she's ten years younger than I am. I very clearly know that she came to me to share about something else and she's trying to avoid that topic seeing my mood.

'Bhai you know what happened today at school?' she regained her enthusiasm back to talk to me.

'No, I don't!! What happened' I tried my best to show interest in what she was trying to say.

'You know my classmate Amit, today he took me to a secluded spot in our school's library and...and!' she was unable to speak any further.

'Yes what did Amit do?' I was loud to which she instantly answered.

'He kissed me!' she said hiding her face behind her palm.

'What the heck? Damn it!! Is this why you are going to school?' I yelled at her. I am a very disciplined man, I never was in any relationship. I am waiting for the right moment to enjoy my life. I could not believe what I heard. Tanya could not control her tears, she was crying still hiding her face behind her palm, I could hear her sobs.

'Okay now come on, stop crying. I know you were not prepared for it, right?' I tried to console her embracing her.

'Yes bhai, I don't want to be in any relationship for now!! I just want to study first and then later on I'll have plenty of time to enjoy. Am I right brother?' Tanya asked me making me speechless. I am so proud of her. I assured her that what she was thinking and planning about her future was correct and proper. I tried to help her deviate from the hurt. I always was a little worried about her since she's a very good looking girl. I hope and wish she never encounters any situation like this in the future.

'Bhai I know you have been practicing deep sea diving from many years, Uncle told me about it. So how long can you hold your breath in the deep?' Tanya asked me when she finally was out of the hurt.

'I can hold my breath upto four minutes, I need to practice it more. I wish to reach a few more seconds!!'

'Wow!! unbelievable!' she clapped lightly at my achievement of which I am pretty proud.

'Yeah!! You know something, see what I found while I was practicing it when we visited Saudi Arabia!!' I showed her the beautiful ring that I found in the deep waters of the Persian Gulf and was wearing it in a chain that I got polished after coming back.
