Rahul and Meera were getting ready to attend the marriage of Rahul's cousin Tanya and were in London.
It's been almost four years now Meera was out of coma. It took her an year to recover from the weakness. She stayed in the same apartment, Rahul was with her all the time taking care of her, that which changed Meera's approach towards Rahul. She slowly began liking him which turned to love but was unsure if Rahul too felt the same for her.
One evening, Rahul popped the question 'Meera, will you marry me?' And she instantly said 'Yes'
Six months later, they both were married in a very simple ceremony as requested by Meera 'I do not like to waste money Rahul...instead, why don't we donate that money to some orphanage where the needs of those young kids can be taken care of, at least for sometime'
'Yes...I think you're right!!' Rahul agreed to it.
Rahul's love towards Meera was set as an example to the youth. The couple were always in newspapers and even television news channels as an youth icon for the current generation who are in love. Rahul never cared for the publicity he and Meera were getting, all he cared was how to take care of Meera that brought them both even more appreciation from everyone. Even though their marriage ceremony was not upto Rahul's expectations, the sensual pleasures they enjoyed were much more beyond his dreams, and was more satisfying.
Their London home was well decorated for Tanya's wedding. With many guests arriving that late February evening with heavy snowfall. All those entering their home were covered in thick jackets. Entering in one by one handed over their long thick furry jackets to the one taking care of and revealed their beautiful dresses at once turning the room pretty colourful. Tanya too insisted on low key affair and her beau agreed to her request and so there were just the family members present at the wedding that was being held in their house.
Tanya was looking very beautiful wearing a maroon coloured ghagra-choli while the groom Jas too wore an Indian traditional dress. As the wedding procedure started Meera was about to walk out of her room when she said, 'Rahul, I today somehow am experiencing severe pain in my lower back'
'Don't worry and don't stress yourself, you have been physically exerting yourself these past few days...if you are not upto it, then stay here and take rest, I am sure all would understand' said Rahul massaging her back lightly.
'No...Rahul, I do not wish to miss the ceremony and also we don't have to travel anywhere, it's just downstairs' said Meera and walked out of the room.
'Are you sure?' Rahul enquried again.
'Yes my dear, I am pretty sure, I am fine' said Meera turning back to face Rahul and smiled. Looking at his beautiful wife who wore a beige coloured saree, he grabbed her waist and kissed her cheek 'Stop it Rahul, somebody might see us!' Meera said with a smile and was blushing.
'Let them see... we now are husband and wife, they all know, isn't it?' Rahul said with another kiss on her cheek and then lightly kissed her beautiful lips that were deep red due to the lipstick.
'Okay...okay...now let's go...' Meera insisted on going downstairs to attend the wedding.
'Do we have to? Can't we spend some more time here...alone?' Said Rahul lazily.
'Don't be a baby throwing tantrums....now come on' Meera held his arm and tried to drag him along with her 'by the way, you are looking too sexy in this Sherwani'
Rahul blushed along with Meera while walking downstairs. Looking at those two lovely couple walking down, all the attention of the relatives standing there turned to them. 'Wow you both are looking so gorgeous' said one of them.
