Meera's P.O.V......

I could not believe my eyes, Rahul sir was standing right in front of the door. Unable to control myself, I hugged him.

Thank you god for sending him here tonight....

I was lying on my bed and kept praying continuously. I was too scared to close my eyes. Hearing those street dogs bark, my heart beat kept increasing.

What if any thief sneaks in? What if he harms me?!

There were thousands of wild, random thoughts coming up in my mind with no full stop. But when I saw Rahul sir, I instantly felt so happy and all that fear just disappeared in seconds. He offered to be with me the whole night making my mind peaceful, which in fact helped me to get a sound sleep. When I opened my eyes the next morning I did not find Rahul sir.

It's alright, at least he was with me all through the night....I need to thank him....

I felt so fresh after such a long time. Reaching office the moment I saw him, I greeted him. I did not know if he was feeling okay? Without prior knowledge I tried to be friendly, started sharing my past experiences. It was then he very seriously told me that he was not interested to listen.

I know it's not the right time to discuss personal issues!! I could not stop myself from expressing my subconscious feelings!! It's good he straight forwardly said no to my rambling.....

Back in my cabin as usual I wept for sometime.

I need to be strong! When I have accepted his help last night, I must be ready to take his unpleasant approach towards me too!!

I convinced myself, which immediately gave me lots of ease and helped me to further do my work in time. Back home that evening, my subconscious fears were coming up while I was busy preparing some noodles for myself as dinner. I had no option, Fatima was on vacation too and she told me that she would return by Wednesday. I kept thinking what do I do now? Who will be with me tonight? I can't expect Rahul sir to help me tonight also!! God do something, I can't sleep alone!!

I kept praying while I heard the door bell ringing, it must be Rahul sir.... A sudden random thought made me happy and I ran to open the door. I was surprised, 'hey Meera how are you?!' Sandy Didi hugged me as soon as she saw me.

'What a surprise Didi? How are you?' I enquired.

'I'm good my dear sister! Can I come in?!' Didi asked me.

'Oops!! I'm so sorry Didi!! Please come in!!' I welcomed her in and closed the door 'I am so happy you came Didi!'

'Yeah me too my dear! You know I came to share the good news with you again, the date of my marriage has been fixed and I am getting married this month ending and I want you to go with me at least a week before my wedding!!' Said Sandy Didi.
