-Chapter Seven-

Taehyung's POV

"Dude just text her" I look up from my phone screen straight at Jimin.

"Easier said than done"

"It's been two months already, grow some balls, it's not like you guys ended it on a bad note" I huff at what he said as I look back to my phone screen where her contact still was.

'Ren💋'

"I know, but what if she hates me?"

"Tae, you're overthinking it, she doesn't hate you, she is just probably upset because you guys have been together for the last three years it's gonna be odd at first" Namjoon says jumping over the sofa to sit on it.

"Look just text her, what could go wrong?"

What could go wrong?

Oh I dunno?

Maybe she won't text back.

She could read me off.

Or just straight up Ignore my text.

There are quite a few things that could go wrong but the guys just don't understand. It was both of our ideas to split but we didn't have a choice whenever she was free I was busy with practice, the upcoming tour, and interviews, whenever I was free she was busy with College.

Our schedules never met up and it's was just unhealthy.

"Tae?" I look up to see Kookie has my phone.

"You guys can't just tag team me like that" I whine whilst they start laugh. "Dude your twenty, act it" Chim says. I send a glare at him.

"Guys leave the poor lad alone, he's obviously heartbroken" Jin stops to laughs. "Nope I can't, sorry V but just text the girl" he continues.

"Fine" I bluntly say and snatch my phone back from Kookie. "You guys are horrible to me?? I hope you know that"

"It's either you text her or I do" Yoongi says making me roll my eyes.

I unlock my phone and it's still on her contact. I press the little envelope and start to type a text.

Hey, I just wanted to text you x

I press send and lock my phone. "Did you do it?" Kookie asks leaning close to me.

"Yes I did, now I'm going for a walk" I say gtabbing my earphones from the table. I feel them watch me walk out the door.

I stand outside the dorm's door for a bit and take a deep breath. Putting my earphones in and start to walk, I don't even know where I'm going to go I just walk.

I stop walking when I notice Ren's favourite song was on. 'View' by SHINee. I look at where I am and I notice that I'm at the park near Ren's friend Ghostiee's house. I walk into the park ground and sit on one of the swings.

I didn't realise that not talking to Ren would actually be this hard. We went from talking everyday to not talking at all. I do miss her a lot but we both agreed it was for the best, plus we agreed to stay close friends because we didn't want to ruin our memories.
