A Month and a Half Later

Serenity's POV

"Okay guys and don't forget that your first  small assignment is due to be handed in a week tomorrow" Viola calls out to us all as we're packing our stuff away ready to leave the lecture hall.

I look around the hall and try to find Hailey. I soon enough spot her in the crowd of students, I slowly make my way to walk over to her, zig zagging though all of the other photography students.

Hailey is one of the friends I've made so far at Uni, plus I share a dorm room with her and she's pretty open about everything, which is what I like in a person. There is literally never a dull, awkward or silent moment with her, well unless were both bury with course work.

Plus she's in the same course as me so that's not to bad either. Also being friends with her I've made a couple more like Dalton, Alec and Flo short for Florence. They do Music, Dance and Games Development. She's known Flo and Alec since high school. Then Alec met Dalton in college where their classes were opposite each other.

"Hey Ren, ready to grab lunch?" She asks me as I get to her.

"Sure am" I smile, we go to walk out the door before Viola calls my name.

"Ren could I grab you for a couple seconds" Don't get me wrong Viola is lovely and she's such a young tutor but this girls gotta eat!

"You go ahead I'll catch up" she nods.

"I'll be in the same place as normals" she waves, walking backwards and I nod.

I walk from the door to where Viola was sat and stand in front of her. "What's up?" I casually ask her and she looks up to me and smiles.

"So do they know yet?" I tilt my head and try to remember what she's on about.

"About GOT7" she whispers and I quickly shake my head. "Why haven't you told them?" I shrug my shoulders.

"I just don't wanna tell them and then they start to treat me a little different you know" I explain.

Viola is probably the only one here who knows I'm related to JB and dating Yugyeom. I mean there is no bad reason about it all but I just don't wanna be treated differently because I have dated and is dating an idol, and have an idol for an older brother. I have no problem in telling them I just want them to find out in time.

"Anyway go get lunch, I can here your stomach making whale noises from here" she laughs, I nod before jogging to the door straight into someone.

"Oh my- I'm so sorry" I say as I just hear a little laugh. I look to the person I bumped into and it's only Dalton.

"Dalton hey!" I smile at a blonde tattooed guy who just nods.

"Are you going to meet Hail for lunch?" He asks me, I just nod in response. "Same, walk with?" He asks.

"Sure, she's sat in the usual space" I say as we walk in the direction of Hailey.

We got to Hailey in no time and sat with her.

"Hey what did Viola want?" She asks me as soon as I sit down.

"She just wanted to know how I'm coping being so far away from home" I straight up lie to her which I hate doing as she gives me the thumbs up.

"Oh shit yeah, because you're from Seoul, South Korea aren't you?" Dalton asks.

"Yep, raised but not born" I chuckle whilst playing around with the pasta salad I had for lunch.

Since I've been at Uni I've spoken to Yugyeom as much as I can, but not gonna lie it's quite hard, mainly because of the time zones so now here where I am it's 12:38pm so back home it's 1:38am. So the time gap sucks, there has been a couple of times where I've stayed up till 4 in the morning just to talk to them as over there it would have been around five in the afternoon.

Yet I've spoken to Tae nearly everyday.

"So Ren how about you?" I look up to Alec who asked me the question. I feel like an idiot because I was in my own daydream.

"I'm so sorry I was on my own little world" I smile as they all chuckle.

"Are you seeing anyone like Flo is or are you a single pringle like Hail, Dalt and me?" Alec asks me again.

"I'm actually seeing someone" I smile, making them all nod.

"We should have guessed, you're freaking stunning" Flo smiles making me blush.

"Me? Stunning?" I question and again they all nod.

"Shit guys, I've got a lecture" Dalton jumps up grabbing his bag in the process.

"What is the time? My phones dead" Flo asks us all and I look to my wrist at my watch, which Jackson brought me as I was always loosing track of time.

"1:15" I say and she also jumps up.

"I have one minute to get to the other side of campus for lesson!"

"I'll go with, I wanna go to the library" Hailey grabs her bag.

"I'll see you back at the dorm?" She calls over to me, I just give her the thumbs up before they both run off.

"And then there were two" Alec chuckles.

"So how's dance going?" I ask him and he smiles.

I know that he either wants to be a professional dancer or a choreographer.

"It's going amazing, we've got to come up with out own choreography for a song of our choice so I've decided to go with 'DNA' by BTS because it's such a tune" he says and I smile.

My boys.

"You're from Seoul right?" I just nod as I know exactly what his next question would be.

"This is probably going to be such a stupid question but do you know of BTS?" He asks me.

"Yep, I've lived with them at one point" I say without thinking, his jaw drops.

"Walk with me and I'll explain?" I say as I stand up from the bench.

We walk across the road to Washington Square Park and sit on the bench with our recently brought milkshakes in hand.

"So you lived with BTS like the BTS who have won awards like billboards?"

"That would be them, I used to also date Tae" I smile.

"So the guy you're seeing is Taehyung?" He fanboys, I shake my head.

"Nope, we split up two years ago, but he's my best friend" I smile.

"So who are you dating now?" He asks.

I pull up a picture that Mark took of me and Yugy from christmas.

"Soo?" he asks me in a questioning tone, I smile.

"Just a Korean guy, I've been with over a year and a half, I decided to not date an idol because I don't want to be known as the idols girlfriend and get bombarded by loads of fangirls you know?" I explain to him, he nods as I sip on my banana shake.

"Yeah, that is fair enough" he smiles.

"So how are you finding uni so far?" I ask him changing the subject which makes him shrug.

"Busy, a lot more busier and harder than college" he sighs.

As we were talking about uni I couldn't help but think about how everyone was doing over in Korea.

Eomma and Appa.

BTS.

GOT7.

Yugyeom.

My girls.

Even Coco.

I've only been here for nearly two months. I've not seen them for nearly two months. And it's harder than I thought it would be, being thousands and thousands of miles away from them all. I just have to wait before I can go back home and see them all in person.
