Serenity's POV

I was woken by the sound of my phone ringing under my pillow. Sliding my hand under the pillow I pull the ringing phone out. Looking at the screen I see that Dalton was calling me. Pressing the green button I put the phone to my ear I speak.

Hey hey

Hey, I'm just on my way to yours

Okay, I'll get ready quick and wait outside for you

Awesome, I'll see you in five

Okay, see you soon

He hangs up and I drop my phone onto my bed before quietly walking over to my draws as I don't want to wake Hailey, who had her back to me and was sound asleep.

Opening my draws I pull out a pair of black jeans and a oversized jumper.

Correction. It was in fact one of JB's jumpers I brought over here with me.

I was going to wear what I was already wearing but I had fallen asleep in it so I wanted to wear fresh clothes and I forgot how cute the jumper looks tucked into these jeans.

I should really wear this jumper more often, it's super comfortable. But the weather over here has been so warm recently that I've hardly been wearing jumpers and hoodies.

I chose to wear my timberland boots as I don't have to do anything to the laces I can just step into them. I adjust the tongue on them before grabbing my phone and keys.

I wish our dorm was on the bottom floor so I could just climb out the window only because our door squeaks a bit when you open it so far. But it's not a quiet squeak it's pretty loud.

I quickly open and close the door locking it behind me before running down too many flights of stairs towards the exit of the building.

Why not take the elevator you ask?

I can't. I have a phobia of them. I was stuck in one once on my own. My worst experience ever. I had no signal either so I couldn't have called JB, Mark or Jackson. I was only thirteen at the time. And to this day I haven't been in one. And I done think I ever will again.

I get outside the building and all that lights up the ground is Dalton's headlights of his truck. I walk over to him. Opening the passenger door I hop into the seat.

And as soon as I do my nerves kick in.

"Excited?" He asks me as I close the door shut.

"Yep, but I'm more nervous than anything" I admit.

"You'll be fine, as soon as you see him you'll feel at ease" I lightly nudges me.

"It feels like where talking about me seeing my boyfriend" I chuckle as Dalton starts to drive in the direction towards the airport.

"Well you never know what could happen, I mean you're single now and you really like him, wait let me rephrase that, you never stopped liking him" he smiles whilst keeping his eyes on the road.

Dalton has been my Mark though this. We've been spending a lot more time together recently as we've been working on a song to record. So I fill him in and he gives me advise and he said and I quote "I don't normally ship people but I ship you with Tae and I've never met the guy"

And the other thing about me and Dalton hanging out means he tells me stuff too. Just like the fact he has a huge crush on Hailey.

But because I promised Hail that I wouldn't tell him, I haven't. I want to because they would be cute together but I have kept my mouth shut as I don't want to screw it up for them.
