James's POV

I can't stay here, I have to find her. She is somewhere in this overwhelmingly large city and I have no idea where to start. What I do know is that I need to get out of here and fast. I pretty well run down the hallway and through the cafeteria. For it being a Saturday night, it's pretty dead, but for those who are in my way, they move before I have the chance to run into them. I run up to Autumn's office to find it empty and the lights off. Oh, for fuck's sake. Now I have to go to the end of the hallway to her apartment. I knock loudly and wait a moment, but I don't hear anything, no footsteps, no her telling me that she's coming. Oh, great. Just great.

Do I really need to tell her that I'm leaving?

Yes, I do. Fuck.

I run down the opposite way of the hallway, passing her office and stopping when I come to Kamer's door. I knock loudly, probably even more recklessly than before.

"What?!" Kamer yells, clear annoyance in his voice.

"Have you seen Autumn?" I ask him, feeling more and more eager to just run away.

He groans, "No, try the armony."

I sigh, "Fine, I will," I begin towards the stairs. This is taking way too long. I just need to find her and tell her I'm leaving. I mean, It's not like I am going to be gone all night, I just need to see her. I need to get out of whatever club or bar she's at.

When I finally make it to the other side of the building to the armony, I push the doors open. "Has anyone seen Autumn?" I question the men holding those huge guns.

They shake their heads and I hear a series of them saying "No."

I groan and leave the armony. Back up to Kamer's apartment, I guess. You know since I got here, all of Autumn's little minions no longer call her 'Candella'. It's funny, I think so anyways because I have no idea why she would get them to call her that in the first place.

I get back up to Kamer's apartment and by now my chest is heaving. This is a lot of fucking work. I mean, where the Hell could she be?

"I can't fucking find her, Kamer. I need to talk to her, now." I demand to him.

I hear him say something, but I can't hear what he said. "What?"

"Just hold on!" He shouts back.

I wait and I wait for what feels like forever, but it's probably closer to two minutes. His door swings open and Kamer stands there looking more flustered than ever. "What's wrong with you?" I question him.

He shakes his head. "Nothing. Fuck. I was sleeping, let's go." Kamer and I walk down to the cafeteria.

"I've already looked everywhere, why are we down here?" I question him, getting irritated by all this.

He begins walking back up the stairs towards Autumn's office, but I stop in my steps. I'm not walking around in circles anymore. "Just tell her I'm leaving."

He turns around and stares at me with so much fury that I'm sure his stare is putting holes in my head. "Like fuck you are."

I shake my head. "I have to, Vena sounds like she might be in trouble."

He shifts his stare to behind him. He stares up at Autumn's office for a moment before returning his eyes to mine. "What kind of trouble? Life or death?"
"More like I'm not sure if a strange man is going to take advantage of her or not."

He groans and takes one last look at Autumn's office. "Fuck, she's going to kill me," he mumbles under his breath. "Let's go." He begins walking at a faster pace than I'm used to. "Do you know where she is?" He asks me, staring straight ahead.
