I find myself striding down the long walkway to Autumn's office. Only moments after Jason left my room, I was up and ready to go.

I need to know exactly what is going on and now. There is no way in fuck that I am going to be the one kept in the dark.

I burst through her office door, not even bothering to knock. On every other occasion, I would, but not now. I will find out what is going on and I will do it now.

Autumn swivels in her chair and looks at me with her phone pressed against her ear. She shows no emotion as she stares at me. Her usual cocky expression has fizzled and I can tell you one thing and that is that I'm scared. No. I'm terrified.

"No," she says into her phone, shifting her eyes to the top of her desk. "You will find him and you will do it now. Don't you fucking dare come back without finding him," she huffs and hangs up, tossing her cell phone on her desk.

"Listen James, I really don't have the time to deal with—," she pauses and furrows her eyebrows at me. "Whatever it is that is your little problem," she finishes her sentence as she turns back to her desk.

"Yeah, no, that doesn't work for me," I announce, sitting down on the chair in front her desk. "I think you and I both know that this problem isn't little."

She lifts her head up, her eyes blazing. "What did you hear?" she declares, her stern voice demanding an answer.

I sit on the edge of the chair, tapping my fingers against my thigh. "It doesn't matter what I heard. What matters is why the fuck you thought it would be fine to not tell me."

She runs her hand over her forehead. "For fuck's sake," she mumbles under her breath. "You weren't supposed to find out this way," she continues in her hushed tone.

"Are you fucking kidding me?! This way? You should've bloody well told me the moment you knew."

She nods, refusing to look me in the eyes. "I wanted to come up with a plan first before I told you, so you know... You wouldn't do this."

I rise to my feet, no longer being able to sit. My blood is boiling at the sight of her. "You are so fucking unbelievable! What if they had gotten to her?! What would you do then, huh?!" I ask her, my voice gradually getting louder. I don't give a fuck who hears me, she's the who's pissed me off this time.

"James, they won't to get to her, Samuel is out there. She is safe."

I shake my head persistently at her. "Are you completely stupid?! I mean, seriously, I'm asking. This is a whole 'nother mob and you think that they aren't going to go after something that I care about?! Do you really honestly believe that?"

"We can't go out there, but she's safe James, I can promise you that."

Oh okay, so she is stupid. Good fucking talk then.

"And if you go out there, they'll get you. That is so obviously their plan. I'm certain that they have no plans to kidnap Vena, it's you that they want."

I throw my hands up in frustration. "Why, Autumn? Why the fuck would they want me?"

She slowly rises out of her chair. "Why?" she pauses," you want to know why they want you?" she repeats my own words.

I nod, "That's kind of why I asked?" passive aggressiveness thrives through my words.

She nods, silently stepping out from behind her desk. "Come on. I'll fucking show you why." She leaves her office, leaving the door open for me. I stand here feeling helpless. Hurrying out our of the room, I job to catch up with her. "Just tell me, Jesus Christ, Autumn I don't need a fucking tour."
