It isn't long before Jimin's breathing becomes deeper and more steady. His body slowly loses all the tension it holds, and it is clear he has fallen asleep. Despite this fact I continue moving my fingers through his hair, relaxing myself with the fact that I am close to Jimin and he is able to relax enough to sleep.
Even though I had slept for hours earlier, the lack of sleep has still left my body out of sorts. I find myself relaxing after he has fallen asleep, and with a full belly sleep is very tempting. I squirm a bit under his weight, but thankfully he doesn't respond at all as I lean forward. I situate myself carefully so I lean over him, laying my head on my arm to cushion myself from the hardness of the table. I set my forehead down, gazing down at his sleeping self that is sheltered by my own body. I sigh softly, his peaceful face bringing me comfort. His lips are parted slightly and each breath of air tickles my legs.
I close my eyes after watching him for a bit, tilting my head away from him. I feel I was invading his privacy a bit, but he was the one who decided to fall asleep there. Sleep gradually washes over me, but as I am about to sink into it Jimin whimpers softly. I force my eyes open as he stirs and whines again. I return my gaze to him and resume running my fingers through his hair. A small gasp escapes his parted lips and I shush him gently, whispering incoherent mutters to him. This seems to calm his down enough, because he quiets and gradually relaxes. I can't help but smile as I re-situate myself and fall into an undisturbed sleep.

I wake to Jimin stirring. I groan at the pain in my neck and pat his head softly as he whimpers. I shush him but instead of calming down, he groans and lifts his head a bit. My lazy hand falls from his head to the back of his neck, causing him to jump suddenly and try to scramble to his feet. His head hits my chest, causing both of us to yelp as I sit up quickly and pull my hands to myself. He has fallen back into his butt and stares at me with wide confused eyes. I put my hands up in a show of surrender and he sighs heavily, calming down a bit. I hesitantly drop my hands as he reaches up to rub his neck.
"I fell asleep, huh?"
He grumbles and I nod, missing the heat he gave.
"Sorry."
He mutters and rubs his face, although I catch his cheeks that are red with embarrassment. I giggle, causing his eyes to snap up to mine. I wave off his confused look, my smile lingering.
"It's fine. I really don't mind."
I say lightheartedly and he nods to himself. We are both silent for a moment, awkwardness settling over us. I finally clear my throat and plop off the chair, situating myself on the ground so I am on the same level as him. I surprise myself with how easy conversation has become, and relish in the feeling of being able to talk to someone.
"Jimin-ah~"
I hum his name, seeming to surprise him with my lightheartedness. Heck I'm surprising myself with it.
"Stop being so shy."
Now it is my turn to tease him lightly and I reach up to poke his cheek. He only blinks and smiles a bit, waving me off.
"Ya, ya."
He grumbles.
"I just can't believe I fell asleep."
I laugh softly and nod in response.
"It's like you didn't sleep at all earlier."
I tease.
"We slept for a while."
He nods and looks away, his cheeks brushed with pink.
"I didn't sleep... I was too worried to sleep."
He mutters and now it's my turn to blush.
"Thank yo-"
Before I can finish my thought he cuts me off with a light punch to my arm, climbing to his feet.
"Hey, stop saying that so much I already said it's fine. Anyway, I didn't get to finish that yummy coffee yesterday. Let's go back?"
He inquires as he helps me to my feet, pulling me up by my hand and making me smile. I nod and he grins, motioning down the hall.
"Alright, let's get dressed and head out."
