"Stormjay, are you paying attention?" Kiara asked.

"...Huh? Oh! I'm sorry, Kiara. Will you please explain it again?"

"Of course." Kiara nodded. "In the past, we used to use just leaves for covering up wounds. But, as our packs developed and became more resourceful..."

She went on about how shamans used to heal pack members in the past, but his mind started to wander again. Usually, Stormjay was able to pay attention well and memorize facts easily, but today it was much harder for him. Knowing what was going on with his mother and the fact that there's a possibility that his father could be none other than the horrible leader Aries was overwhelming and depressing him.

"I'll go and get some resources that we're running out of today. If anyone comes in, how about you two try to heal them?"

"Yes, ma'am!" Bright Moon exclaimed.

"Of course." Stormjay nodded.

Kiara smiled at the two of them as she left them alone in the shaman resources den.

"You feelin' any better from last night?" Bright Moon asked.

"Ugh...not really, honestly. I'm having some trouble focusing," He admitted.

"Try eating one of those marigolds. Kiara said they can also lower stress, didn't she?"

"Good idea." Stormjay agreed. He trotted over to the pile of marigolds and took a bite of one of them. It was revolting, but he was determined to try and focus.

"Wonderin' if something really bad happened..." Bright Moon frowned. "I worry about you, y'know."

"Don't. It's really okay, I can handle it! I'll be fine. I'm sure it'll work out..."

"I hope so. Let me know if-"

Sky sprinted into the shaman resources den, dragging Kenya behind her. "HELPPPPP!" She barked.

"W-What happened to her!?" Bright Moon panicked. "Is she okay!?"

"It's just a thorn!" Kenya wacked Sky with her paw.

"SHEEEEEE'S GONNA BLEED TO DEATH!" Sky wailed.

"Calm down. We can fix this..." Stormjay chuckled.

"Yeah, all we gotta do is pull it out... no resources are even needed here." Bright Moon chuckled awkwardly.

Stormjay had Kenya flip over the paw she got a thorn stuck in. He pulled it out without even trying, and threw it aside.

"See? You're just a big baby, Sky." Bright Moon teased.

"Ah...whatever. Let's go, Kenya."

"Thank you," Kenya dipped her head to Stormjay and Bright Moon. They both smiled at her as Sky ushered Kenya out.

Sky didn't seem to be too fazed about what happened with Loki...she just seemed like regular, good ol' Sky.

"Welp, how about we sort the resources a bit more 'till Kiara comes back?" Bright Moon suggested.

"Okay, let's get to it."

"You have to promise!" Evelyn begged Loki.

"I don't know if I have the courage to do it tonight..." Loki sighed. Evelyn had been trying to get Loki to break up with Wood.

"I mean, it would be even better if ya broke it off with Aries, but you ain't gonna do that anytime soon..."

Loki nodded. "I suppose I need to get it out of the way..."
