(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I sigh tiredly as the shuttlecock touched the wooden floor I failed to do a simple smash which was unusual...
"Oi (Y/N)! Keep your head on the training! It is almost the tournament!" My coach yelled and I wiped my sweat with my palm and gripped on the racket tightly, and I nodded and my practice partner served and I quickly ran to the left and hit it and then she backed away to catch the shuttlecock and passed it back to me with such a force and I chased the shuttlecock and quickly passed it to her, and she hit and it went up really high which gave me the chance to jump and I smashed it, as I landed back to the wooden floor and I sigh and glanced at my coach who remained to look serious.
"Can I please take a break?" I pleaded and he gave me a death glare,

"No, you can't take breaks when we just started training!" He said and I groan,

We've been practice for like 4 hours! And I want to see her ...

"I'm sure you can do this." (F/N) said while patting my back, and I could only sigh and I walked towards the court once again and prepared.

~Time Skip~

As I smashed the shuttlecock with force I breathed heavily I was losing air, I've been practicing without any breaks, I glanced at my coach and he nodded,
"That is all for today great job, (Y/N)." He said while patting my back and soon he left and I finally sat down the bleachers
"Waaaah I'm so tired!" I complained and drank tons of water bottles and (F/N) sat beside me,
"I told ya you can do it." She said and I smiled,

"Hahahah yeahhh you're right." I said and wiped my sweat with my towel,

"Hey, when are you going to confess to Riko-chan?" She suddenly asked out of the blue and I blushed,
"I-I w-w-will... After the tournament." I stuttered and looked away bashfully,

"And are you sure about that?" She once again asked and I nodded,

"Why not today? Why confess during the tournament when you can confess now?" She said and I blushed,
"Well... She could be stressed and I might get the worst timing." I said and she could only sigh,
"You'll regret not confessing to her today." She said and I could look at her clearly confused,
"What do you mean?" I asked and she grab her phone which showed her lock screen and she typed her password which revealed her wallpaper which was her and You-chan,
"The thing is, You-chan loves Riko-chan..." She said sadly while staring at her wallpaper,
"Did you let You-chan know about how you feel?" I asked and she shook her head,

"That is why I'm letting you confess first, so when You-chan knows you already confessed I would be there to comfort her even if she doesn't return my feelings." She said as a tear rolled down her cheeks, I looked at her sadly,
"Hey, I suggest you tell You-chan how you feel. Who knows she might change her mind." I said and (F/N) looked at me straight in the eyes and I wiped her tears and cupped her cheeks, and before we both knew it we kissed but as my senses came back I pushed her and breathed heavily and we both wore the same expression, shock.

But soon we heard something and we quickly looked at the sound and there my heart shattered,

Riko-chan saw it...

"I-i-it's not w-w-w-what it looks like!" I protested but she ran and slammed the door, I got down on my knees and cried,
"I'm sorry..." I cried silently and soon (F/N) pat my back,

"You should go after hershe needs you." She said and I looked at her and she smiled sweetly and I stood up and she wiped my tears and I hugged her,
"Thanks." I said and ran after Riko-chan but I couldn't see her...

Just where is she?

I stopped running when I realized I forgot to check one room, I turned around and ran and when I finally made it there I heard the sound of the piano I slowly walked inside only to find You-chan and Riko-chan... I looked down and quickly left,

Was I too late?

I ran towards my classroom to grab my bag but when I was about to leave but the moment I turn around I saw Riko-chan close the door,
"C-can I-I talk t-to you for a sec.?" She asked softly and I blushed and nodded,

"S-sure..." I stuttered and she walked towards me and I backed away until my back hit the wall, she then kabedon me,
"The thing is... I... I... I... I love you..." She said and looked at me straight in the eyes,

"Eh?" I asked dumbfounded and she didn't give me the chance to react since she suddenly kissed me, I widen my eyes but I placed my hands at the back of her neck and kissed back,

Who knew this would happen? But as long as Riko-chan is mine. I'm going to win that tournament!
