It was stupid of me to wander around the building on my own. I don't know what came over me. It was new to me and when ever I see something new it's like I don't really think about the consequences, I just want to learn more about it. At this point I almost had a full mental map of the entire building besides the president's office.

When I was finally content with my exploring and could snap myself out of it, I realized I shouldn't have left the group. They were probably worried and looking for me.

Or were they happy I was gone? No longer their problem?

I felt like they would most likely go back to the entrance if they were looking for me, so I decide that would be the best place for me to stay. I turned the corner and bumped into a man. He was tall and had a scar across his face. His hair was styled back. He looked professional. I saw his name tag and new who he was.

"I'm so sorry Mr. President." I bowed as low as possible.

"It's fine." He looked at me with a puzzled expression. "Were you here for an appointment with me?"

"N-no! I was just visiting." I wasn't sure what to say or if he was trust worthy. But he didn't seem to recognize me at all. Maybe he was innocent of what happened to me.

He smiled warmly revealing two dimples.

"What's your name?" He asked me. His voice sounded less assertive.

"Yumi"

"Nice to meet you, Yumi, I'm RM" he stuck his hand out to shake mine. A formal gesture. It would be rude of me to decline.

I took his hand and shook it, but I couldn't help but feel his hand lingered on mine a little too long.

"Were you applying for a job?" he continued.

"No, I came here with some friends, I just got a little lost." Pretend you're innocent. He'll be less likely to be mad. I felt like if he tried to harm me I would be ready. But why did I even think that he would try to hurt me. Why am I so on edge around him?

He took a step closer and I casually took one back. "Well if you are looking for work you could stop by my office when ever you want and drop off your application."

"Sure!" I wanted him to just leave me alone. What was that look in his eyes? A look of desire?

"Yumi!" I was relieved to here Yoongi's voice.

"So, you came here with Yoongi?" RM stated.

Yoongi was beside me and when he saw how close RM was to me he noticeably stood between us.

"Long time no see." Rm said to Yoongi.

"Yeah, long time."

He took my hand "Ready to go?" I nodded my head. RM spoke up when he saw Yoongi do this.

"Who is she to you to display such affection? Usually you're so distant, even to your friends." he laughed but I could sense there was some truth to his words. A pain in his eyes.

"She's my girlfriend."

Rm looked at him in shock. "Well good for you. I'm glad you found someone." The tension between them seemed strange. Like I was missing why they seemed so fake towards each other.

Jimin and Tae finally caught up to us and they greeted RM in a friendly way.

"They're going to chat for a bit, let's go." Yoongi pulled me to follow.

We left the building and walked to a small park area near the building.

"Why did you say I was your girlfriend to him? Seemed like overkill."

"I just didn't want him to feel worse."

"What do you mean?" I really wanted to know what I was missing, but maybe it's not my place to know.

"I let him down..." he clearly didn't want to tell me their history yet but the tone in his voice made me feel like they both experienced something together, another unhealed wound to add to the list of the many Yoongi has. "Why did you run off?" He asked me annoyed. Rightfully so.

"I don't know. When I see something new I lose myself and wander. I'm sorry." I looked to my hands. I felt like I deserved to be scolded.

He thought about my words.

"Ok then next time you feel that way at least tell me."

"Why are you so concerned about me anyways? If I just left, you wouldn't have anything to worry about, right?" I looked at him. "Am I just filling a void inside you?"

He was surprised by my questions and fell silent. He contemplated for a moment.

"I'm not using you if that's what you mean."

"let me rephrase, why is a stranger so important to you that you'd go out of your way to help them?"

Without thinking he responded "it's what Hoseok would do..."

Why did his response bother me? I didn't mind that his friend meant so much to him but...

"Maybe what Hoseok would want is for you to live your life the way YOU want to. Personally, I don't want you to help me just because you think it's what he would have done. I would want you to do it because it's what you want."

Maybe it wasn't my place to say it. But I think it's a hard truth he needs to hear.

He opened his mouth to reply to my statements, but I continued.

"You and the others are the only people I have, and I don't know how the others feel but I don't want to be helped if you deep down don't want to."

Jimin cleared his throat. Announcing his presence and letting us know that he overheard our conversation. Tae was there too. Awkwardly trying to pretend he didn't hear anything.

We all walked back to the library in silence.

Yoongi was completely lost in thought. I felt bad that what I said made him so quiet. Maybe I really should have just kept my mouth shut. We're basically strangers after all.

I need to remember it's probably not the same for them. They've had their whole lives and I've only been a part of it for a few days...

I went to his apartment and took my clothes and went to another room which Jimin helped me pick out and gave me the key card to. It was high up and I could see the city well. I could just think peacefully while staring at it.

I took out a pen and paper and lost track of time. As I stared at the city, it started to make more sense to me, without thinking about it I began to draw the map of the city. I don't know how this was possible just from looking at it in this angle.

The sun was setting now, and the twilight was breathtaking.

I looked down at the paper and saw that I really did draw an elaborate map of the entire city.

I also drew out every floor of RM's headquarters, filling in the blanks of the restricted areas by comparing them to other floor plans.

Before I really had time to process what I had done there was a knock at my door.

I looked through the peep hole and saw Yoongi.

I opened the door and let him in.

He seemed upset but looked at me tenderly.

"You're right."
