Its been three months since Yumi came into my life.

Decoding everything has proven itself to take a lot longer then expected there's a lot of missing pieces that I must make sense of and peace together myself.

During my breaks I taught her everything she would need to know to run the lab. She's taken in everything and become such an expert that she even fixes some cyborgs that come into the library.

She seems to have this need to learn new things. Recently she's started watching combat training videos online and has been training in the public gym. She's very acrobatic which makes our theory that she was made to fight to be true.

What amazes me the most about her is that she can learn so much and understand so quickly.

She's helped me perform tests on my brain too, to try to figure out why I've been having these visions of Hoseok. So far, we've found nothing. He hasn't really been popping up lately so it's not my main concern.

Jimin and Tae have been trying to find Jungkook's new location since he seems to have relocated ever since Tae had breached it.

The biggest question right now is Yumi's mind. I'm hoping that the last of these notes will give me some clue as to who she used to be. Maybe then I would feel like my feelings for her are ok to have.

I really like her. She has opened up a lot and her personality seems to be shining through a lot more. She can be silly sometimes, but she can also be very serious when she needs to be. And her smile...

I stopped trying to figure out the last part of the notes. I was distracting myself.

Maybe I need a break.

I left my office and walked to the public gym. Before I entered I could hear fighting sounds.

She was practicing her skills with Tae. I never actually saw them spar. It's insane. He used to be one of the best fighters in the underground vampire fight clubs so of course his skill was amazing. His eyes were glowing red in contrast to her eyes shining neon yellow.

I was amazed, she seems to be an equal match to him now.

They were fighting with wooden sparing sticks. Seems like She's learned to fight with laser swords.

I spotted Jimin watching them and I went to join him.

Tae lunged at her with a ferocity I haven't seen in a long time.

She flipped backwards landing on her feet perfectly dodging his attack, and with the same movement she did the splits. He didn't expect her to move so quickly and she jabbed her wooden sword upward towards his chest so quickly and with such precision I thought she would kill him then and there. But she had enough control to just touch him. He was panting and stepped back.

"You win... Again..."

She stood up and bowed out of respect.

"You gave me such great tips! So, its really because of you that I've been winning" she smiled warmly.

Her smile always made me feel like I had butterflies in my stomach. She always looked so genuinely happy and smiled with her eyes too.

"She's really amazing. I'm sure she would be perfect if she were on a real mission." Jimin told me.

"You mean if we were still in the rebel group?" I laughed quietly.

Jimin then looked serious.

"Would it be so bad to maybe do something more official? If RM needs help to keep the city in check on a more secretive level, then why don't we do it? We could do what the police can't. We could be the ones to clean up the city..."

I thought about it for a moment.

Maybe he's right. Maybe that's the next step for us and the library.

"Maybe we could..." I said to him in a positive tone. He seemed hopeful about my response.

Tae and Yumi were laughing now. Tae was making a fool of himself again and she was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes.

They walked over to us.

"Oh! Yoongi! I didn't know you were watching" She sat next to me. Her arm brushed against mine. Her touch felt like a pleasant electrical current.

"You're really good." I managed to say.

"Did you two witness that! Yoongi finally complimented me! We should celebrate!" She teased. The two of them laughed but I realized how distant I've been. I feel so fondly of her and I haven't expressed how proud I am of how much progress she's made since she arrived.

"I'm gonna go wash up" Tae said as he dabbed off the sweat on his neck with a face towel.

"And I'm gonna join him" Jimin winked at Tae. They both seemed to be doing a lot better now which was nice.

It was just Yumi and I now.

"I'm going to go wash off and get changed too." She stood up and I grabbed her hand.

She turned, her long ponytail whipping around her.

"Something wrong?" she asked me.

"You don't think I hate you right?" I asked her.

"Of course not!" she answered without hesitation. "I know you're just busy figuring out the codes and notes." She smiled.

I felt guilty.

I stood up still holding her hand.

"I've been kind of distant lately. And part of it is that we're both busy but there's something else too."

She had a concerned expression now.

"I like you. And I want to get closer to you but I'm afraid that once you know your past you'll leave. I know we already went over this and you said you'd want to still have me in your life but I'm getting so close to solving everything that its just been weighing me down. I want us to be more then just friends, but if you go back to your old life maybe I should distance myself more."

Her expression softened as I went on. She gently grabbed my other hand.

She looked me deep into my eyes I felt like she was staring at my soul. The silver in her eyes sparkling.

"You're really over complicating things, Yoongi."

She smiled, and I was expecting her to just reassure me that I was overthinking this. But what came out next took me completely by surprise.

"Let's date."
