I grabbed her to calm her down. Her eyes were yellow, she looked like she was ready to fight. I knew her feeling of needing to do something to save him, but she needs to have a level head about this if we're going to be successful.
Jimin looked around the room for anymore clues.
We all knew it had to have been Jungkook. The last time Yoongi was taken we lost Hoseok. I hope we don't lose anyone else this time.
She was calmer now and I let her go.
"They must have wanted to get me, but they took him instead. It's my fault he's gone." she stated.
"It's not your fault, it was just bad timing, plus we wouldn't want them to take you either. Lets all just think about what we should do next." We stood there in silence for a moment.
"Well we need to get him back..." she broke the silence by stating the obvious.
"We did narrow the location down while looking for his lab so at least we have an idea of where he is." Jimin said.
"Should we try to confront RM?" I mentioned "He is the man funding all of this."
"We'll lose our surprise if we do that. They'll know we're going to try to get Yoongi back... " Yumi thought about it for a moment. "No, they'll know that we will go to get him. I bet you they're counting on it to catch me." she was right. Jungkook is a tricky man. He'll have a lot of scenarios planned out to be ready for anything we come up with.
"So, we just need to be smarter then Jungkook. We beat him once, we can do it again." Jimin was sounding hopeful.
"Yeah but we had Hoseok on the inside. We wouldn't have won if it wasn't for him."
We fell silent again.
"Well... you have me. I was built for this kind of thing..." We both looked at her. I know she's very capable of fighting and intelligent. But I never got the chance to do field tests with her, but she is right. She is built for this.
"It's not like we have a whole rebellion either, it's just the three of us." Jimin was trying to be realistic.
"Three is all we need. That, and lots of weapons." Yumi was already developing a sound plan in her mind.
"We don't have weapons either." I said.
"That... isn't really true..." Jimin spoke up. I was confused by his statement.
"You know RM locked up all of the rebel base's weapons and gear, right? well... I might have made an identical key card to access it if we ever needed it." Jimin never stops amazing me.
"I think this is as good of a time as any to access it."
...
We walked into the storage area and I was surprised to see one of our former rebel members sitting at the reception area. He was siting in a hover chair as he was too stubborn to get robotic prosthetic for his legs.
"Tae! Jimin! so good to see you again!" He greeted us.
"Good to see you too Raymond." I spoke with a cheerful tone. Yumi stayed silent.
"What can I do for ya?"
"We're on a confidential mission and need access to the room" Jimin spoke quietly.
"Ya got the key card?"
"Yep!" Jimin took it out and showed it to Raymond.
"Alright follow me." and he moved quickly towards the right storage room. He opened it and gave the key card back to Jimin.
As we entered it felt like I was literally walking down memory lane. The room was so large, and the items were all neatly put away. I forgot how well equipped we were.
We started to get the things we needed. First, we got dressed in the clothing we needed that was fused with flexible armor to help prevent extensive damage from being shot at.
I found the same model I used to wear back in the day. Putting it on was so nostalgic. It fit tightly so that the material couldn't get caught on anything if I was ever in a tight spot.
Yumi put on same thing. She looked good in black. She buckled on the combat boots and started to look for the weapons she needed.
Jimin had his suit on and damn did he look fine. I missed the old days solely for how good he looked in these suits.
He took the equipment he needed. We had already discussed our plan before we came here, and it was risky, but it was a good plan. Just no room for error.
Jimin went to Yumi with a machine.
"Stick your arm out" he said. She did, and he pushed up her sleeve. He placed the machine over the inner part of her forearm and pressed the button. She winced a little at the pinch it caused and when he removed it, she had four black circles that if you connected them it would make a square. It looks like a tattoo, but it was an implant. One that will give you access to a specific weapon. Judging from the shape of the marking, Jimin gave her a lazer katana.
Yumi and I both found the trench coats we needed to be able to conceal the parts of a sniper rifle inside but when you wore it, it looked like there was no concealed weapons. The coat moved normally, no sign of a gun at all.
I attached two hand guns to the side of my thighs and she tied her hair up into a high ponytail to keep her hair out of the way. I remembered having to do the same when my hair was longer.
We all looked at each other when we were finally ready for this attempt.
"Let's go."
