(Macy's P.O.V)

There's only one way out of here and it's through the front door. If you make it, run and don't look back. Then again if you don't make it, your going to wish you did.

I close the book tight as I try and read the twisted stories of Raven Asylum. It closed down back in the late 70s but the twisted stories were just un human. It was boring start to the day, I guess every Sunday was boring though. There was nothing coming from my phone, which was weird because I would have thought Jesy would have called. While I was locked up in my own house, grounded for the next month she had gone to the concert of the year. Then again if I would have gone with that porcelain I wouldn't brag about it either.

Sliding of my bed I make my way to the window. The sun was shinning through the clouds, but it was still a terrible day. I had noticed a familiar car in the driveway, Jesy's mums hybrid. I got excited, but I then knew Jesy wouldn't be here.

Racing downstairs I stopped when I saw Mrs. Jones on the couch with tears streaming down her face. My heart dropped, something was wrong.

"Good your awake." I looked to my left and saw my mother. She had a distressed look upon her face. "Jesy didn't come home last night, have you heard anything?"

"Not since she message me last night, she was teasing me about how good the concert is," I said walking into the living area. "Jesy was sending me picture of how close she was."

"I'm sure she's fine." My dad said coming into the room. Mr Jones was here as well. I couldn't be here, surrounded by them. Mrs Jones always thought the worst in things and I knew she would over react about this whole thing.

I headed back upstairs, dodging Tate my brother as I went to my room. Jesy couldn't go missing, she's loud and obnoxious. I went to my laptop and logged onto Facebook before grabbing my phone.

To Jesy: Your parents are freaking out, call me bitch.

It was a good thing I had an iPhone, I could tell when someone has read my texts and Jesy sure had seen it within seconds of sending it.

To Jesy: Seriously? Jesy answer your phone!!!

I was starting to get annoyed. I would have guess she had no credit to text or call back but then I remembered she's on a plan and can call or text anytime she pleases. I start pacing in my room, trying to figure out where she could be. Nothing came to mind though, I looked out the window when a bright light catches my eye. It's a reflection from the sun on a black truck. It was weird to see it around this suburb, it should be out in the countryside. The windows of it were tinted, but one of the windows were down. A guy with brown hair sits in the drivers seat, with one hand on the steering wheel and another holding a cigarette outside the window. A pair of dark shades covered his eyes, but a smirk was plastered across his face.

I shook it off and went to my laptop. Messages to Jesy were everywhere, begging her to come home. People were coming together to do a search party, but some where saying it was to early and that she'll be home in no time.

"Macy mom wants you down stairs." I turn to look at Tate and just stare at him, but when he leaves I get up of the chair and make my way back down stairs. There's more chatter coming from the living room and I walk in I realise why. Amber's mum and dad were here as well.

"Mom?" I call out to her. When she spots me she walks over and places a hand on my shoulder.

"I need you to run down to the shops, grab snacks or whatever you can." My mom says as we walk into the kitchen she grabs her purse and hands me he credit card.

"I'm grounded, can't Tate do it?" I ask before grabbing the card from her hand.

"No honey, Tate is doing something for your father and I need you to do it." She gives me a smile before walking back to the living room. I spot Mrs.Adams giving me a smile but I ignore her and head out through the side door. Mum didn't say what car to take so I grabbed her keys off the hook. That was a bad idea, the Jones' and Adam's car were blocking her car. It was my car for sure. I climbed in and started to car. I shouldn't complain, I had mums credit card. It was strange, she never let me take it.

* * *

At the shops I could see a bunch of people I go to school with. They were sitting on the bench outside the shop smoking and laughing about some random shit.

"Macy." I looked over and saw Mike. I have him a wave before walking into the shop. I walked down aisle after aisle, looking for random shit so my mum can host some lame party because my friends didn't come home. I know I should be worried, but Jesy has plate this stunt before.

"Come here often?" I looked around and notice a tall, fairly built guy standing next to me. He had tan skin which was covered with tattoos and a pair of dark shades sitting on his head.

"Not often enough." I sigh as I grab a few packets of crackers. I couldn't help but stare at him. He had gorgeous green eyes, the kind of eyes you dream a guy should have and brown hair which was held back by the shades. I went to walk away, but I had to get one last look.

I thought getting a basket full of supplies was painful. The checkout line had two people in front of me, but they had mountains of things.

"Don't you just hate that." I look back and see a guys with dirty blonde hair. His eyes were like a hazel colour and he was showing his teeth. A cute dimple sat as he sort of smiled.

"So much." I said letting out a sigh. I returned to looking at the front of the line. I could feel someone staring at me and no doubt it was the guy behind me. It was like he was leaving a mark, or wanting me to turn around. I don't budge, I just stare ahead and look around as I wait for this painfully slow line to end.

One, Two, Three. I close my eyes as I ripping headache starts. Great. I was now in need on pain relief, thank the gods that there is a chemist next door. Another counter opens and I'm soon being the one checked out. I try to smile as I push past the headache but it's impossible. Leaving the store I walk through to the chemist and co to the counter.

"Hi, I was wondering if you have anything for a headache." I asked the lady at the front desk. She gave me a quick glance before turning around. I watch as he looks around on the shelves before grabbing a blue box.

"Here you go dear, take one with food four times a day and you'll be feeling better in no time." She said with a smile. I handed her the credit card and paid for it.

Heading out I spotted the black truck that past by the house. It was parked a few spots away from mine. I ignored it and headed to my car when I saw the two guys I had seen in the shop. They knew each other and were walking just I front of me. I couldn't help but stare, they were gorgeous but I couldn't distract myself from putting the shopping in the car and heading home. One by one I put each bag in the car and it wasn't until I shit the boot and was about to climb in the car that I realised they had gotten into the truck. I was now very curious considering I've never seen them before. Getting in the car I looked down at my phone, there was only a missed call from him. I ignored it and put it on the passenger seat, ready to start the car.

"Don't you know curiosity killed the cat."
