"Hey Rob!" A blonde woman from the bar greeted as the two men entered.
"Sup, Val?" Robert answered.
"Who is your friend?" Valerie said coming from behind the bar.
"Shane Powell. He's our new neighbor."
"Oh yes, I heard rumors. I'm Valerie Vidal. Pleased to meet you." She said sticking her hand out to Shane.
"My pleasure, beautiful lady!" Shane said as he kissed Valerie's hand.
"Can we get a table?" Rob said
"That one. Have the menu!" Valerie said pointing to a table and handing them the menu.
"Have whatever, it's on me." Robert said.
"The way to make friends..." Shane said.
"Tell me you never did it and I'll call you liar."
"I didn't said I don't do this. I just told you I recognize it!" Shane said smiling. He liked Robert."I'll have the blonde."
"She also has two teen boys. And an admirer" Robert said.
"Who?" Shane immediately asked.
"Doug Rodel. You don't know him."
"Of course I don't. Tell me what I want to know!"
"He's as rich as us, good luck." Robert said smirking.
"And she..."
"Well... she never said she likes him, or she doesn't like him. Anyways they get together from time to time but it's more a friendly encounter. The point is that you can still try if you want her."
"You don't try on your own? Or have it assured?" Shane asked his new friend.
"Neah... I don't... I'm looking for something else."
"Better for me." He said winking.
"Did you decide?" Valerie appeared next to them. It was quiet at that hour.
"I'll have steak." Robert said.
"Me too. And also, could you add slightly more salt? Because you're too sweet." Shane said.
"Oh... I'll be right back." Valerie said blushing.
"Smooth move." Robert winked to Shane.
"It's only natural!"
The food arrived, they ate, and it was time to go.
"An enchanting view I had, looking towards you." Shane said greeting Valerie goodbye.
"Thanks sir... you really are something."
"Please, call me Shane. We're friends, right?"
"O-ok... bye guys!"
"Bye Val! Say hi to the boys." Said Robert as Val dissappear in the back.
As they exited they bumped into a guy.
"Sorry si- oh Robert!" Said the kid.
"Bryce! Done schooling?"
"You can say that... mom's here?"
"Yes...oh and meet Shane Powell. He's the new guy."
"The new Richie I get it. Hi I'm Bryce."
"Hey!" Shane waved to Bryce.
"OK I'll go now. I have to talk to Sean."
"Bye." The men greeted as Bryce entered the restaurant.
"The younger one." Robert elbowed Shane.
"Takes after his mom. A little cheeky though. I assume Sean is the older."
"Yes. And you should know. Bryce always messes up. In most of the times Doug saves his butt. "
"That's a Smooth move." Shane said.
"Yeah... but Val doesn't seem to take it this way."
"Well, thanks for lunch!" Shane said.
"Yes. Hey... meet me tomorrow?"
"Why not. You can show me around."
"Just come to the biggest houseboat you can spot from your window." Said Robert.
"I'll be there by 11."
"OK. Bye!"
