Finally, he was there. After the 6-hours flight and another one of boat riding, Shane has finally reached the Island. He had a big villa and couldn't wait to hit the bed. The weather was very nice as Shane inhaled deeply the fresh air. He couldn't wait to see the sunrise in the morning, only he'd never wake up that early.

"I made it, dad! The house is simply beautiful."

"Take care, son! Just remember us from time to time, OK?"

"You remember me in your world-tour! OK!  Talk later! Bye!"

"Shane."

"Yes?"

"Money isn't everything!"

"Bye dad."

Shane hung up. Needless to say his parents were also above average when it comes to money. They were currently taking a world trip.

Shane went to bed and woke up the next morning. He ate then he started to dress for the city. The house would feel better if he had a girl by his side.

He reached the small town. It was quiet. Cars weren't bustling and people weren't rushing. Most of them told 'hi' to each other while passing on the street. Shane walked to the park.

"New around here?" Shane heard a voice. It belonged to a guy.

"Is it that obvious?" Shane asked from under his shades.

"It's a small town, you know?" The guy said sitting on a bench next to Shane. "Robert Iverson!" He introduced himself as he stuck out his hand.

"Shane Powell!" He answered shaking Robert's hand. "Actually yes, I arrived yesterday."

"Oh you're the guy with the villa."

"Wait...how do you...?" Shane asked confused. "I thought that part is restricted."

"It is. Restricted only for those who are filthy rich. Which it seems to be your case, my friend...and also mine."

"Where do you live?"

"Houseboat. The biggest around here, that's mine."

"Wow, quite bragging, Mr Rob." Shane said.

"Showing up to the park wearing Armani is different?" Robert said pointing at Shane's shirt.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know there was a dress code around here." Shane said sarcastically.

"Not a dress code, but a moral code. Hey, why don't we go to eat?" Robert said.

"Morally, I'll accept." Responded Shane. "Just don't take me somewhere to be poisoned."

"Morally, I will not." Said Robert. "It's only one restaurant around here so come on."

"Does the one has a name?" Shane said following Robert.

"Marquise" he answered. "Look, it's not much but it's better than the local fast food."

"You mean the only fast food?" Shane said.

"Yes. See I also came here to relax. But relaxed so much I forgot to go back to work." Robert said.

"What do you do?"

"Right now collecting the income from my mother's company."

"That is...?"

"House industry." Robert answered. "Actually it was her the one who put up this island long ago. I was born here but left in America to work. Returned later to take over the company when my mother passed."

"I see. Well, I actually have my own company and came here since I'm so sick of all the city stress." Shane confessed.

"Who said here is calm?" Robert winked. "Bet you can't resist one year, city man. I'm telling you from experience."

"How long have you been here?"

"Quite some time, but if I could, I swear I'd run like hell from this place. Hey we made it." Robert said opening a door as Shane followed.
