There is much trouble in Paradise

Chapter 10

"Chill. Explain only if you want. To be honest I'm more curious about the Fiona girl." Said Shane bringing some whiskey to his friend.

"It's OK, we'll get there too." Robert said as he took the glass.

"It's terminal, isn't it?" Shane said facing Robert.

"Is it that obvious?"

"I figured it's a sickness from last night, and you dropped some hints during past weeks so I just put them together. But you're starring at that glass in such a way I can only guess what's going on." Shane explained.

"Wow, you're sharp."

"Did you expected less?"

"Not anymore."

"As a detail, probably his family doesn't know since you brought him to your house instead of his." Shane continued.

"Settle down, Mr Holmes!" Robert said chuckling.

"I'm not an honor student but I'm clever."

"I couldn't agree more."

"You still didn't tell me what exactly it's wrong with Garret."

"Tuberculosis. No cure found yet. He hasn't got much and I have to take care of his family if something were to happen."

"I'm sorry for him. He seemed such a great guy!"

"I know. He surpasses me always. I'm pitying him so much..."

"Just let me know if I can help you!"

"Sure thing!" Robert concluded. "Now. As for miss Herron."

"Yeees." Shane grinned like a high school girl.

"Island's kid as well as Theodore Michaels. They had a thing back in high school and eventually moved together. Married at some point if I'm not mistaken. Had a beautiful daughter, Paula. Then, the rich and handsome Albert White arrived with his ex wife Lola. He didn't exactly love her, he was with her for beauty and fame, she was with him for money."

"Wait...you don't mean the infamous Lola Bell do you?"

"That's right! She made a name for him actually. Anyways, after he got them cash he cheated on her with none other than Fiona Herron. Oh and to mention Lola was pregnant with Albert's child: a lovely girl called Alisha. But Fiona was also pregnant with Albert's child: future Adam. She hid the pregnancy from both Theodore and Albert, but it eventually leaked. Theodore never accepted it was his son, because in fact it wasn't, and Lola got really angry and left Albert. She also left Alisha who was only a couple months old. Theodore shooed Fiona and won the trial into keeping Paula and now Fiona raises Adam by himself." Robert explained.

"And the relationship between Fiona and Albert?" Shane asked.

"He eventually left her for Holly. Fiona wanted the kid and Albert didn't opose. So that's it. Now he's dating Holly West, Lola is nowhere to be heard of, Theodore minds his life and it seems that Fiona still wants attention."

"She with Doug now?"

"Bro, not gonna lie to you. I arrived here after the whole drama took place and I know everything from Garret. But I also know Doug never liked Fiona. Like, never. I really think he's just trying to piss Val."

"I thought they were friends." Shane asked nervous as the topic turned to the beautiful blonde woman.
