"Love!" Cara run to her husband's side

"I'm sorry..." he said in a hoarse voice.

"It's OK. Don't worry. I'm here now!" She started to stroke his hand.

"Thanks...for everything!" Garret muttered. "Hey Rob, can we have a moment?"

"Sure. Guys, let's go!" He said tapping Shane's shoulder. Alisha followed them. Garret's kids were also called to remain in the room.

"Thanks mate!" Said Robert.

"No problem, chill, anytime." Shane answered.

"What happened actually?" Alisha quietly asked.

"He coughed blood, then collapsed in my arms. I called 911 and they brought him here. They say it's his diasea getting worse..." Robert explained. "Anyways how come you are here?" He eyed Alisha.

"She was with me when you called and really wanted to come." Shane explained.

"Well, it might be a good idea to also let your father know." Robert told the young girl as she took out her phone.

"He said he's coming." Alisha said after a while.

"Garret said he's feeling close to end. He wants as many people as possible next to him."

Vigilent as always, Alisha didn't forget to text her godfather since they were reporting regularly their programs to each other.

Doug, who was still with Valerie, widened his eyes at the text he just received.

Alisha:
I'm at the hospital with Shane Powell and Robert Iverson. I just learned Garret Iverson has a terminal sickness. It might be your last chance if you want to say anything to him.

Doug:
Is this for real? I'm still with Valerie, what should I do?

Alisha:
Do as you feel. I've gotta go.

"Are you OK? Douggie?" Valerie asked him.

"Yeah...just an urgent message from work. Look, I kind of have to go." He said grabbing his stuff.

"Oh...can't you stay for a little more?"

"No, it's bad. We'll talk later OK?" He said rushing to the door.

"Will you be back?" Valerie asked trying to hold him.

"Talk later, Val!" He said shoving her and running outside.

He drove like crazy to the hospital where he met Albert and Holly who were parking.

"Alisha texted you too?" Holly said.

"Yes, God! I didn't know!" Doug said.

"No one did, except Robert and Shane. Not even his wife."

"That's screwed up."

"Let's prepare for the worst." Albert said joining them.

"Let's go." Doug took the lead.

"You came." Robert greeted the three newcomers.

"Dad! Holly! Doug!" Alisha hugged her parents.

"Alisha! How did you come here?" Albert asked his daughter.

"I was with Shane when Robert called him." Alisha explained.

"You were with Shane?" Doug asked.

"Yeah. We met coincidentally in the park. We were chatting when Alisha remarked my worried tone." Shane chimed in, placing a hand on Alisha's shoulder.

"Yeah. They are in really good terms." Albert elbowed Doug who only shrugged his shoulders.

Suddenly, the door opened and Cara's head popped out of the room. She had a dark expression.

"Come."
