Hey ... Kirby? It's Daddy ... gising na.... I have a surprise for you.
RJ whispered while nudging his son, Kirby then turned towards him and slowly opened his eyes. RJ immediately grabbed the cake he secretly ordered the night before and showed it to the little boy.
"Happy Birthday, Buddy. Daddy loves you." RJ whispered before he started singing the Happy Birthday Song to his son.
Happy Birthday to you .... Happy Birthday to you ....
It took Kirby a few moments before he was able to process what was going on. But when he did, the little boy sat up swiftly and gave his Dad a huge smile.
"IT'S MY BIRTHDAY????" he asked in an excited tone.
"Yes! You're five years old now. Make a wish and blow this candle." RJ told him and Kirby quickly nodded. He then closed his eyes for a moment before blowing the candles on the cake.
"What did you wish for, Buddy?" RJ asked after placing the cake back on the night stand.
"A brother, I WANT A BABY BROTHER!!!" Kirby yelled happily and RJ's mouth fell open.
"Susmaryosep," RJ whispered."Okay, Mommy Maine and I will make 12 babies soon. Speaking of Mommy Maine, do you want to tell her it's your birthday?"
"YES!!!"
"Alright," RJ said with a smile on his face. He then reached for his phone and dialled Maine's number.

"May kasama ka bang babae na ka-edad mo dun? Baka mamaya puro matatanda yung nandun ah? Naku Menggay, mag-ingat ka ah ... baka mamaya pag-uwi mo dito Lola na ako di pa ako ready." Maine heard her mother say while she was packing her things for the planned weekend beach trip.
"Nay, andun si Cherry tsaka yung mga ibang katulong. Mag-iingat po ako dun, promise." Maine assured her.
"Hmmm ... siguraduhin mong magkaibang kwarto kayo ni RJ matutulog ah? Kung pwede sa bubong siya dun siya sa bubong." Mrs. Mendoza then replied.
"Tay, si Nanay oh ... grabe siya."
"Tama naman yung nanay mo. Kung ako nga lang masusunod, mag-hapon ka lang dun eh." Her father told her and Maine just sighed.
"Oh sige na, pupunta muna kami sa palengke ... hintayin mo kaming bumalik ah?"
"Sige po." Maine responded. A few seconds later, both of her parents left the room. That was when her phone started ringing. Maine picked it up and saw RJ's name on the screen. She smiled and quickly answered the call.
"Happy Monthsary, Baby ..." RJ's sweet voice immediately caused her heart to flutter. Maine then blushed and smiled to her self.
"Ihhh .. enebe? Weg me nge ekeng teneteweg ne beybe ... kenekeleg eke. Happy Monthsary din, Hubby."
"What?"
"Ah ... Baby! Yun ... Baby!"
"Ahhh ... I love you, Babe." RJ told her.
"I love you too. By the way, its Kirby's birthday today ... do you wanna greet him?" he asked.
"Siyempre naman. Asan na yung cutie bebe boy na yun."
"He's here," RJ replied and handed the phone to Kirby. The two then talked for a couple of minutes before Kirby gave the phone back to RJ.
"Mana talaga sa'yo yung anak mo."
"Why? I'm sorry, lumabas ako saglit eh."
"Tinanong ko kasi siya kung ano yung gusto niya makita sa beach tapos sinabi ba naman niya eh girls ... many many girls daw." Maine replied, trying her best not to laugh.
"Susmaryosep. Sinabi ba niya sa'yo kung ano yung gusto niyang birthday gift?"
"Hindi eh. Oo nga pala, ano kaya magandang ibigay sa kaniya?"
"Kapatid daw." RJ said and her mouth fell open.
"Ihhh RJ, seryoso ako."
"Ako din naman. Tara kasi pag-bigyan na natin siya."
"HOYYYY!!!!"

RJ, Kirby, and Cherry left the mansion one hour later. They went straight to Maine's house to pick her up.
"Cherry, can you please pass me the flowers?" RJ asked, pertaining to the bouquet of Red Ecuadorian Roses they bought along the way.
"Ito na po, Sir. Yiiieeeeehhhhhh kinikilig na ako ngayon pa lang, lemeghed. Pakasal na kayo plehs." Cherry said and RJ grinned. He then got out of the car and went inside their property.
"Babe?!" he called out and Maine appeared into his view. She was already carrying her bags and was ready to go.
"Uy, andito ka na pala. Enebe? May pa-flowers ka pa."
"Beautiful flowers for an even more beautiful lady. Happy Monthsary, Babe. I love you." RJ said before giving the roses.
"Thank you, Happy Monthsary and I love you too," Maine replied before planting a kiss on his cheek. The two then hugged it out for a moment before they pulled away from each other.
"Um, wala pa nga pala akonbg gift sa'yo." Maine whispered.
"That's alright. Your mere existence is the greatest gift I could ever ask for."
"Emeghed, eng hebe neng heyr ke. Tara pumasok ka muna, kahit paalam lang kina Tatay."

The group left Maine's home a few minutes after. She settled into the driver's seat and waved goodbye to her parents.
"Read this please, Babe." RJ said before handing her a piece of paper.
"Oh before you open that, I just want you to know that my gift is already at the resort." He then told her and Maine smiled. She then glanced at Cherry and saw her grinning.
"Anong regalo niya?" she whispered at her.
"She will not answer you. I already corrupted her mind." RJ said with a smirk on his face.
"Ewan ko sa'yo." Maine mumbled but kept her eyes on him. RJ then turned his head and looked at her as well. Maine couldn't explain what it was but she definitely saw sparks everywhere the second they gazed into each other's eyes.
Um ... Sir? Nagmamaneho pa po kayo mamaya na lang yung landian niyo with Madam, please ...
Cherry's voice ruined the moment. Maine looked away while RJ glued his eyes on the road and blushed. The vehicle was then filled with awkward silence that only got broken when Kirby said something that they made them all laugh.
"Daddy is so Pabebe."

Lala and the rest of the Faulkersons were already at the resort when RJ's group arrived. After an awkward exchange of pleasantries and birthday greetings, RJ let his brother EJ take Kirby away.
"Asan yung gift mo dito? Parang wala namang naka set-up?" Maine asked while looking around.
"You got curious huh? Wala pa talaga, Babe. Kasi mamaya pang gabi yun."
"Ahah, alam ko na regalo mo ... dinner date."
"Eh ... half-right, actually ... wrong." RJ replied before taking a step closer to her. He then looked at her straight in the eyes and grinned.
"Oh edi ano?"
" .... Ako."
"PAKSHET KA."
