"Oh sige, i-explain mo kung bakit mo ako pinag-apply sa isa niyong company eh alam mo naman na gusto kong i-prove at i-test yung sarili ko? At tsaka alam mo naman na gusto nina Mama na mag-apply ako dun sa hindi niyo pagmamay-ari?" Maine asked RJ after finding out that the company she was working at was owned by them.
"I ... I wasn't ready to let go of you."
"RJ naman eh. Bakit ka nagpapaka-selfish, hah? Akala ko pa man din naiintindihan mo ako nung pinag-usapan natin yun." Maine replied, trying to contain her temper.
"I'm sorry, okay? I just want to be able to check in on you whenever I want to. And besides, I thought I was helping. Ayaw mo yun? May work ka agad?" RJ asked and Maine just sat on a nearby chair.
"Hindi to tungkol sa trabaho, RJ. Tungkol to sa pagsunod ko sa mga magulang ko at sa pag-prove ko sa sarili ko na kaya kong makahanap ng maayos na trabaho. Yun lang naman yung gusto ko." Maine uttered and RJ got down on his knee right in front of her.
"Maine, I'm really sorry. You can resign if you want to tapos I'll let you decide kung san mo gusto mag-work. But please, please forgive me. Ayokong galit ka, okay? Cute ka kapag galit ka pero ... please forgive me?"
Maine could tell that RJ was having a hard time expressing himself. And after realizing that she may have over-reacted a bit, Maine's expression softened.
"Wag mo na ulit gawin yun ah?" she asked and RJ nodded right away. He even raised his right hand to form a promise sign.
"I promise." He said. Maine smiled and hugged him tightly. RJ hugged her back before he buried his face on her neck. A few moments later, he pulled away and looked at her in the eyes.
"So, napatawad mo na ba ako?" he questioned her and Maine nodded.
"Then that means ... tuloy na ang babe time?"
"Hindi pa."
"Awww ... matigas na eh ... sabi mo kanina manigas ako. Oh ayan, matigas na. Masakit to kapag di natuloy." RJ said and Maine blushed.
"Emeghed. So ... kasalanan ko pa?'
"Sige na ... babe." RJ uttered before whispering "Akong bahala sa'yo."
"Enebe ... peleten me mene eke."
"Please?" RJ asked, displaying his puppy face at her.
"Oh sige na nga. Ikaw keshe ... beket me eke penelet?"
"Alright ... let's go!"

Later that morning, RJ received a call from his Dad. He immediately went back to his study room before he answered the call.
"Hello, Son?" his Dad asked.
"What do you want, Dad?" RJ asked back.
"I was wondering if you and Kirby can visit us here. Lala decided that it would be great for us to bond."
"I can't. I'm busy." RJ replied right away.
"I'll have Lala call you then."
"No. Kirby and I aren't going ... okay? Tell Lala we'll visit her some other time." RJ answered, he knew exactly what his Dad was trying to do. Andso he promised himself that he wouldn't fall for it.
"Alright, whatever suits you, I hope you'll be here next weekend though."
"Why?"
"It's EJ's kick-off party."
