RJ rushed to the hospital to see Maine and her family. And when he got there, he saw a bunch of people including one guy with an unfamiliar face sitting next to Maine. RJ cleared his throat and walked towards them. Maine then stood up from her seat and ran to him.
"Babe ..." He whispered before he wrapped his arm towards her.
"Si ... si Tatay ..." Maine whispered back. The amount of pain in her voice made RJ hug her tighter. He then started thinking of some words that could calm her down.
"Magiging okay lang si Tito. Malakas siya, di niya kayo iiwan." He told her and Maine looked at him in the eyes.
"Paano kung may mangyari? RJ, di ko alam yung gagawin ko kapag nawala siya."
"Hindi mawawala si Tito, okay? Di pa nya nakikita yung isang dosena nating anak. Di pwede mangyari yun." RJ said and Maine pushed him away.
"Eto naman eh." Maine uttered and RJ smiled.
"Yung ilong mo lumalaki na naman. Babe ... love ... future wifey ... magiging okay lang si Tito. Don't worry." RJ told her and Maine finally nodded. He then looked on and saw the unfamiliar guy staring at them. He took a deep breath and walked towards him. But before he got to the guy, Maine's mom intercepted him.
"RJ, buti nandito ka." She said.
"Hello Po, Tita. Kung kailangan niyo po ng tulong sa bills sabihin niyo lang po. Gusto ko po makatulong." He told her.
"Salamat, RJ. Pero nakakahiya."
"Okay lang po. Gusto ko talaga kayong tulungan. Kumusta na po pala lagay ni Tito?" RJ asked.
"Inoobserbahan pa rin. Hindi naman ganon ka-grabe pero baka napuruhan daw sa legs ba yun tsaka sa may ulo kasi nauntog siya nung hinila niya ako palapit sa kaniya. Sana maging okay lang siya." Mrs. Mendoza replied before letting out a helpless sigh.
"Handa po akong tumulong sa inyo." RJ told her. He then looked around and saw Maine's brother. They nodded at each other before he made his way back to Maine.
"Uh, RJ? Si Marco nga pala oh childhood friend ko." Maine said and the guy stood up. RJ smiled and extended his hand towards him.
"Hello Marco, my name is RJ. I'm Maine's BOYFRIEND." He said, putting emphasis on his role in Maine's life.
"Hi, bro." That's all Marco said before they did a quick handshake. He then looked directly into the other guy's eyes and immediately felt a wave of jealousy flow through his body. RJ tightened his group before he pulled his hand away. The smile on Marco's face faded and so RJ quickly turned to Maine.
"Can we talk?" he asked.
"Ah ... sige?" Maine replied in an unsure tone. RJ then took her by the hand and walked away.

"Parang may gusto yung Marco sa'yo." Maine heard RJ whisper the second they moved away from the others. She then just sighed and rolled her eyes at him.
"Susmaryosep naman, wag mong sabihing nagseselos ka? Wala ako sa ano mood na sumakay sa trip mo." Maine answered right away.
"What? Hindi ah, naramdaman ko lang. How are you? I'm sure you're shaken, gusto mo bang umuwi para kumuha ng damit sa inyo? I'll go with you." RJ uttered.
"Mamaya na lang siguro, pag may balita na. Si Kirby, bakit mo iniwan sa inyo?" Maine questioned him.
"Nandon naman si Cherry. Dito muna ako, sasamahan kita."
