Jack Morrison sat outside in his backyard, drinking coffee while listening to old music. Today was Sunday, the last day of summer for his kids before they have to start a new school year. Like Gabe, Jack wants his children to have a great last day of summer, so he invited him and his children, the Amari's, the Lindholm's, and a new family that just moved to the city, the Oxtons to his monthly barbecue.

It's currently 9:10am, and Jack decides it's time to wake his children up. He goes back inside and sets his mug down on the dining table in his kitchen before starting to walk up the stairs. His children also share rooms together to save space. Hana shares a room with Angela, and Genji shares a room Hanzo. He decides to go to the girl's room first. As he walks in he sees the familiar sight of their room. One side was Angela's side. It was decorated in yellow and white, as those were her favourite colours. On the table next to her bed was her school schedule and a calculus textbook right next to it. At the end of her bed against the wall was her small dresser which she decorated the top of with many pictures of her friends, and above that was a prism shaped mirror.

Apart from being very popular, Angela is the captain of the Girl's Tennis team at Overwatch High School. She's won many trophies, so many that Jack built a trophy case that sits in the living room. It doesn't just contain Angela's trophies, but Hanzo's archery trophies and Genji's fencing trophies. There are four shelves in the large case, one shelf for every child. All of Jack's kids have won at least one trophy, except for Hana. Hana isn't a fan of sports, so she's never done any sports at school. While Jack loves her and is proud of her no matter what she does, he wishes for Hana to win just one trophy. He looked over at Hana's side, which was very different from Angela's side.

Hana's side was decorated in pink and posters of various video games lined the walls of her side of the room. On the table by her bed was a 3DS, a gaming magazine, and a half-eaten bag of Doritos. At the end of her bed and against the wall was also her dresser. On top of her dresser were figures of different video game and anime characters. And right by the door to the bedroom was her small desk which had her computer and more figurines. Opposite to the desk was a door to the girls' shared closet. Despite how different these girls were, they got along wonderfully. Jack walked over to Angela first and gently tapped her shoulder. "Wake up Angie." He said. She groaned then sat up in bed while rubbing her fingers through her hair. "Morning dad." She said while stretching.

"Morning Angie. I'm going to go wake the boys up, then I'll go down and make breakfast for all of us. Wake Hana up please then get ready for the day." He said as he began to walk out of the room. Angela gave him a salute with a smile and said, "Sure thing." As Jack closed the door, Angela got up from her bed and shook Hana's sleeping body. "Wake up, bunny." Hana opened her eyes slowly and looked up at Angela while yawning. "Five more minutes?" She groaned. Angela giggled. "Not today. Dad wants us to get dressed and go downstairs for breakfast." She explained. With a sigh, Hana got out of bed and headed for her dresser. Angela then giggled and ran out the room while saying, "I'll be first to the shower!" Hana scoffed and chased after while saying, "Yeah right!"

As Jack walked into Genji and Hanzo's room, he heard the girls run to the upstairs bathroom, giggling uncontrollably. He smiled to himself and close the door. Hanzo and Genji's room was laid out the same as Hana and Angela's. To the left of Jack from the door was Hanzo's side of the room. It was decorated in various shades of blue and posters of Game of Thrones and Twilight lined the walls above his bed. At the end of Hanzo's bed, also against the wall, was his dresser and next to that was their shared closet. Hanzo's dresser had figures of dragons and pictures of him and his best friend, Jesse. And growing beautiful in a small pot was a tiny Sakura tree Hanzo had been growing since the start of summer. He hopes to plant it in the backyard when it gets big enough. On the small table by Hanzo's bed  was his schedule for school and his charging phone.
