Overwatch High School Family AU

(Olivia's POV) Day 4

"It's only Thursday? This week is sure going by fast." Jesse said as he rummaged through his locker. I was leaning against the empty locker next to his and checking my phone. "Yeah, only nine more months left before next summer." I said. He looked back at me with a shocked expression on his face. "What?! Are you serious?! Ughhhhh!!" He whined. I chuckled. "Oh my god, calm down...so dramatic." My brother is such a drama queen, I swear. Just then, I see Hana walk towards me from down the hall. "Hey Hana." I said and waved to her. She smiled. "Hey Olivia! Will you come with me to my locker for a minute?" She asked. "Sure. I'll see you later, Jesse." I said to my brother before I went with Hana. Her locker was actually not that far from Jesse's, just down the hall. When we got there, I leaned against another locker while Hana unlocked and looked through hers. "Thanks for sending me that video of Jane. I posted it as soon as you sent it to me." Hana said. I smirked. "Good! That bitch deserved everything coming to her. Now how's Brigitte?" I asked. Hana faced me for a moment with a smile. "She's doing a lot better!" That's good to hear. Brigitte is a nice girl that deserves good things in life. I'm glad this whole Jane situation ended well. Hana closed her locker. "Oh hey, do you still have my comic book?" She asked. That's right, I borrowed a book from Hana. I'm done with it, so I guess I'll return it to her. "Oh yeah, it's in my locker. Let's go get it." I said. She nodded and let me lead the way. My locker is on the second floor of the school, so we had to go up a flight of stairs and down a few corridors to reach it. Once we did, I unlocked it and reached for the book in the back. I didn't realize however, that Hana could see one of my biggest secrets just on the door of my locker. "Olivia what's this?" I heard Hana say just as I grabbed her book. I turned to her and I'm pretty sure my face went pale. She was holding a photograph of my crush...Genji.

"Why is there a...wait a minute! Olivia!!!" Hana grinned wildly. I quickly snatched the picture away and threw it in my locker. "Olivia! Do you...like my brother?" She asked with excitement in her voice. I could feel my cheeks heating up. "U-Um...well I...I..." I sigh. Looks like I've been defeated. "Yes...I like your brother." I say plainly. Hana squealed and bounced up and down like a child. "Omg, Olivia! That's so cute! And all this time I thought you were into chicks!" I give her a confused look. "Wait, what?" Hana grabbed my hand. "Olivia, let me play matchmaker for you two!" She said with a grin. "Hana I don't know about that..." I hesitated. "Oh come on, please? I promise that you two will end up together and that no one else will know about this. Deal?" She was truly tempting me now. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Ugh...I guess." I said while crossing my arms. Hana squealed and gave me a big hug. Pushover. "Okay Olivia, you won't regret it!"

-Timeskip-

I told Hana earlier that I had my first two classes with Genji, but since she's not in them with me she said she'll help me during lunch. Which would be now. Me, Hana, Genji, Jesse, Hanzo and Angela sat together at a big table in the cafeteria. I don't know what Hana plans on doing so I start feeling nervous. Suddenly she speaks up. "Hey! Let's play truth or dare!" She exclaims. Everyone decides to play since we all have nothing better to do. "I'll go first." She says. Well, here we go. "Genji! Truth or dare?" Genji thinks for a moment before saying, "Dare!"

Hana thinks for a moment. I'm pretty sure she wanted him to say truth. "Um...I dare you to...oh! I dare you to say, 'I would offer your parents 1,000 camels for us to be together' to a random person in this room!" Hana states. Is she serious right now? Everyone chuckled at the weird dare and Genji looks around the table, and our eyes meet. He nervously smiles and stands up. "Sorry if I embarrass you, Olivia." He said before clearing his throat. Oh my god. "I would offer your parents 1,000 camels for us to be together!" He says in the most dramatic voice I've ever heard. For the first time in a long time, I'm speechless. Hana's barely containing her excitement right now. That's when I notice that Genji's face...is slightly red. H-he's blushing! "Okay Genji, now it's your turn." Hana says. "Okay...um, since I picked on you Olivia, truth or dare?" He asks. Just keep cool. "Um, truth." I say. He thinks for a moment. "What is something you would love to get from someone?" He asks me. I would honestly love to get a hug from him, but I can't just say that! "I would have to say...a hug." Goddammit why did I say that?! Everyone chuckled for a moment. "Hugs are pretty great." Angela says. Yeah, they sure are. This weird game of truth or dare goes on for a while longer until the bell rings. We clean up our trash and head to our next classes.

-Timeskip-

It's the end of the day now and I'm sitting on the bus with Hana right next to me. Genji and Angela are sitting right behind us so neither of us are saying anything about my little crush. We talk about other things, like video games and movies until the bus stops in our neighborhood. We get of the bus and head to our homes. The moment I come back home, I run up to my room and slam my face on my bed. Amelíe comes in and sets her bag down next to her bed. "What the hell are you doing?" She asks. "I'm dying, that's what I'm doing." I say sarcastically. I could practically hear Amelíe roll her eyes as she gets something out of her backpack and sit on her bed. Hana better keep her promise about not telling anyone...and about getting Genji and I together, I would like that to actually happen.

(That night Hana went home and told Angela about Olivia's crush😂 so this was just a cute little upbeat chapter, next chapter will be focusing just a tad bit more on Olivia and Genji but then shift into another topic. So stay tuned for next chapter!😁)
