Overwatch High School Family AU

(Hana's POV) Day 7

I sat at the dining table with my family while we all ate waffles for breakfast. Hanzo was looking saltier than usual, Angela looked tired, and Genji kept giggling to himself every now and then. Weirdo lol. Hanzo looked at Genji who sat beside him and shot a nasty glare at him. "Thanks to you, Genji, I have to get a new phone." Genji chuckled and dad looked at them confused. "A new phone? What happened?" He asked. Hanzo sighed. "Genji accidentally dropped it out of our window last night." Haha, he's lying, I can tell. Dad can't however.
"Oh well, it was getting kinda old anyway wasn't it?" Dad chuckled as he took a sip of his orange juice. "You can take my car to the mall if you want. Do you need some more money to buy the phone or do you honk you'll be okay?" Dad asked Hanzo. Hanzo sighed. "No I think I have enough, thanks for offering though."

"Hanzo, can I go with you? There's a new game I've been dying to get!" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. I'm going to see if Jesse also wants to come along." Genji smirked and made a childish, "Oooooooooh!" Hanzo flocked his ear and Genji cracked up completely. What weirdos. After breakfast, Hanzo and I went over to the Reyes house to get Jesse. Amelíe answered the door, looking really tired. "Hey Amelíe, is Jesse awake?" Hanzo asked. She nodded then looked inside towards the direction of their living room. "Jesse, Hanzo and Hana are here." She said before walking away from the door. Jesse walked over and greeted us with a wave and an awkward smile. "Hey Hanzo, Hana. Say Hanzo...what was that last night? Over text?" Jesse asked. Hanzo groaned and rubbed his temples. "Genji hijacked my phone last night, and destroyed it in the process." Jesse made a silent 'Oh' with his lips. "So I'm going to the mall to get a new one. Do you want to come along?" He asked. Jesse grinned. "Sure! Hey Hana, you want me to ask Olivia if she wants to come along too?" He asked. I beamed. "Yeah!" Jesse chuckled then went inside for a moment. When he came back, he had Olivia by his side and his wallet in hand. "Okay, let's go!"

We walked back to Dad's car then drove the 15 minutes to the mall. Hanzo and Jesse were up front while Olivia and I were in the back. When we arrived at the mall, we ultimately decided to stick together to avoid the hassle of finding each other if we separated. First we went to the phone kiosk at the center of the mall. It took Hanzo almost an hour and thirty minutes to get a new phone. After that we all made our way to the food court for some lunch. We sat in a booth large enough for the four of us and one by one we went and got what we wanted to eat. Olivia and I shared some French fries from McDonald's while Hanzo and Jesse each got a burger. We were having a fun time and all until...

"Ahem...Jesse McCree Reyes." A voice said from in front of our booth. A really pretty girl with short white hair, red eyes, and gothic-cowgirl fashion stood before us. Behind her was a tall boy on the chubby side with stubble and a growing mustache. The girl smirked. "It's been a while, Jesse." She said. Jesse looked surprised to see her but chuckled and engaged conversation. "Yes it has...Elizabeth." He said. Her face morphed into that of someone who just got offended big time and she slammed her hand on the table. "Do NOT call me by that name!!" She raised her voice. She crossed her arms and smirked once more. "It's Ashe." Her eyes wondered over to us, but focused on Olivia. She smiled. "Hello Olivia, your hair looks nice." She said in a monotone voice. Olivia chuckled before taking a sip of her soda. "Haha, thanks Ashe.." Ashe focuses on Jesse once more.

"So...what're y'all up to today?" She asked. "Just hangin out." Jesse said. Ashe rolled her eyes. "Hmm. Well then, I'm looking forward to seeing you all at school tomorrow." She said in a slight sarcastic tone. The large boy who stood behind her was staring at his phone. Ashe elbowed his arm. "Bob! Come on, we're leaving." He jumped slightly then stuffed his phone back in his pocket before walking away with Ashe. I looked over at Jesse. "Who the heck was that?" He scoffed. "A frenemy of mine...she always tries to overshadow me but, I never really care." Jesse says before laughing to himself. "Well, shes not the nicest girl I've met." I say under my breath.

After we ate lunch, the four of us walked into the video game store where Olivia and I picked out a new game for our 3DS'. Once we were done there, we left the mall and drove home, dropping Jesse and Olivia at their house first before returning to our own. But even when we got back, I couldn't stop thinking about that girl. She was...well...a bitch. And I can't help but feel like she's gonna start something bad.

(NEW CHAPTER WITH ASHE!!!!! Omg I love her character I can't wait to play her when she comes out! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, stay tuned for the next one where it'll be Monday once again and Ashe's first day of school!)

(P.S, she and Bob were suspended for the first week of school, that's why this week will be her and Bob's first day.)
