After the bus dropped me off at school, I made my way to the front doors where Miss Orisa usually stands guard. Sure enough, she's there, leaning against the wall as she watches all the students pile inside. I quickly run up to her.
"Hey Miss Orisa!" I greet. She smiles almost instantly at me.
"Hello Lucio," she put her hands on her hips. "You look cheerful today." She walked a little towards me.
"In fact, all of you children have had quite the mood swings these past couple of days." She says. "What's been happening for you kids?" She asks. I put my hands in my green jacket pockets.
"Well you know about Genji's fall, right?" I asked. Her eyes instantly widened at the mention of his name. "Oh, that's right! That poor boy..." She trailed off as she watched more people pile into the building. "How is he doing?"
"Well he woke up yesterday. But doctors told everyone he has a broken arm, a broken leg, and everything else is just fractures." She gasped. "Oh my goodness! I can't imagine what his poor father must be going through...and you kids." We became silent for a moment before Miss Orisa turned to me again.
"You better run along now, Lucio. We'll talk more some other time." She said, giving me a friendly smile. I gave her a smile as well and began walking off.
Sorry this is chapter is a bit shorter, the next one will be longer, I promise. So let's talk about the Halloween Event real quick.
