Overwatch High School Family AU

(Amelíe's POV) Day 6

((omg I'm sooo sorry y'all had to wait so long for another chapter bUT HERE IT IS))

I awake in my bed, feeling quite tired. I suppose I didn't get that much sleep last night. I sit up and look over at Olivia. Her sleeping body is sprawled all over her bed, the covers aren't even on her body and one of her pillows is on the floor. I roll my eyes. I honestly can't see how a single person moves so much in their sleep. I get out of bed and head over to our closet. I pick out my outfit for the day and make my way out of the room and into the bathroom. I set my clothes on the counter and turn on the shower.

I quickly dry myself off and slip into my outfit for the day, a pair of black leggings and a purple T-Shirt. I then quickly tie my hair into a tight ponytail then leave the bathroom. I open the door to my room and find Olivia walking out of the closet. "Sup Amelíe?" She says. "Nothing. By the way, are you aware how much of a sloth you are when you sleep?" I tell her. She blinks her eyes a few times, not expecting me to start the conversation like that. "Excuse me? I'm not a sloth when I sleep. Why do you say this?" She asks. I cross my arms. "Just look at your bed over there! Your sheets are piled together and your pillows are on the floor." She looks back at her bed then scoffs. "So? I move around a lot when I sleep. What's so bad about that?" I walk over to my mirror and begin putting makeup on. "Whatever. Just make your bed." I say. I could practically hear her roll her eyes as she leaves the room. As I put on my makeup, my phone buzzes, implying that I had just gotten a text. I finish applying my lipstick, then walked over to my nightstand where my phone is charging. I turn it on to see who had texted me.

1 Text from Lena👌🏻💘

My heart practically skips a beat. I quickly open my phone to read her message.

Lena: Hello luv! Can't wait to see you and everyone else soon! ^_^

...what? What does she mean by soon?

Amelíe: What do you mean?

Lena: Your famliy, The Morrison's and my family are all gathering for breakfast...you didn't know that?

Amelíe: No actually...

Lena: Oh...well now you know! Lol

Amelíe: Lol Yeah. See you soon then.

I put my phone down on my table and sit down on my bed. How did I not know this information? Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. "Come in." I say. Lucio opens the door and walks in a little bit. "Hey, dad said we're leaving in an hour." He said. He must be talking about the breakfast meeting. I wonder where we'll go? "Ok. Do you know where we're going?" I ask. Lucio thinks for a moment. I think at Mr. Morrison's house. I roll my eyes. "Of course. We always go over there." He chuckles. "Yeah we do go over there a lot, don't we? Hey, where's Olivia?" He asks. Suddenly, Olivia jumps out of nowhere from behind him. "I'm here!" She yells. Lucio jumps and almost does a scream. He breathes heavily and puts his hand to his chest. "Olivia don't do that!" He exclaims. She's laughing hysterically. "Hahaha! I'm sorry, I couldn't resist!" Suddenly dad shouts from downstairs, "Hey! Come downstairs when you're ready!"

"Well, I'm going down." Lucio says. I get up from my bed and grab my phone. "Me too." I follow my brother down the stairs and into the living room. Dad is sitting on the couch, watching his favourite show. I never understood the appeal but whatever. As Lucio, Olivia and I walk into the living room, dad turns the TV down and looks over at us with a smile. "Where's Jesse?" He asks. Olivia snickers and leans closer to my ear. "Probably sexting his bOYFRI-" I quickly cover her mouth with my hand when she screams into my ear. "Honestly Olivia, shut up." As I take my hand off her mouth, she's laughing hysterically, as if she thinks she's funny. Dad stares at us in confusion, probably wondering where he went wrong. Don't worry dad, you didn't go wrong with us.

Suddenly Jesse walks downstairs and joins us. "Ok I'm here now." Dad grins and stands up. "So how about in a couple minutes we'll leave when everyone is ready?" He suggests. He agree and start to gather our phones and spare keys to the house, just incase there's an emergency. As I check the text messages on my phone, dad walks up to me with a large tray. I put my phone in my purse and I ask, "What's in there?" "Cinnamon Rolls. Do you mind carrying them until we get to Jack's house?" He asks. I shake my head. "Not at all." And he hands me the tray. Wow...those smell really good. I'm so hungry. When everyone was ready to go, we left our house and walked across the street to The Morrison's. Their front door was unlocked so we could come in. Dad opened the door and made our presence known with a loud, "Hello!"

Mr. Morrison walks over to us from the kitchen and beams. "Hey guys! Everyone's outside if you want to join them." He says. When he looks over at me and sees the tray, he smiles and says, "Amelíe you can go put those on the kitchen counter, okay?" I nod and make my way to the kitchen with Mr. Morrison and dad while the others go to the backyard where everyone else was at. Upon waking into the kitchen, I'm greeted with the scent of bacon, eggs, and pancakes. It smells amazing. I set the cinnamon rolls on an open counter then I make my way outside where everyone else was. Jesse and Hanzo were sitting together with their backs to the fence, watching something on Hanzo's phone while Genji, Hana, Olivia and Lucio were goofing around by the oak tree towards the back of the yard. I sigh and take a deep breath of air. It's a beautiful day, it would be even better if-

"LENA'S HERE!"
I jump, startled by the sudden noise. Lena practically threw the door open. She look over and me and giggled. "Hey Amelíe! Haha, did I scare ya?" I cross my arms and scoffed. "Yes. Don't do that ever again." She giggles again and pats my back. "Okay, but I will admit, it was funny getting a reaction out of you!" She beams. I really do hate Lena...but at the same time, I really like her too.

A couple minutes after Lena appeared, Mr. Morrison came outside to let us know that breakfast was officially ready, thank god. We went inside and helped ourselves to the many choices of foods. When we were all too stuffed to get more, Mr. Morrison turned on the living room TV and put on a movie for us all to watch. It was a dumb movie, but I had a pretty good time. Eventually it was time for everyone to leave, so we said goodbye and went our own ways. Lena and her parents drove off while me and my dad and siblings went across the street, back home. Olivia however, stayed at the Morrison's with Hana. When I got home, I walked upstairs to my room and sat on my bed. I reached into the drawer of my nightstand and pulled out a Twilight book I was currently reading. The rest of my day was mostly like this. Dad was too lazy to make dinner, so he ordered us pizza. A couple hours after dinner, we all went to bed, except for Olivia and Jesse who stayed up till who knows how long playing video games downstairs.

((Again, I'm so sorry for not updating in 2 months, school has been a bit of a bitch since I started and with the writers block I'm overcoming, it doesn't help. But here you go! A brand new chapter! I'll try to get the next chapter done and out for you guys soon, 'Kay? Cool😜😜😜))
