Clara

"Are you sure about this" Anthony asks as he tosses me one of his many baseball caps. For a guy who plays in one baseball cap he sure does have a lot of extra ones laying around. I secure the one he gave me to my head and move my blonde hair around so it was covering my face.

"I'm sure. I like watching you play at home but you can't hear me from here" I argue and he laughs.

"Fine! You can come, but last time I brought you to a game Jon ripped me a new ass hole so you're telling him that this was your idea" he warns.

"Fair enough" I agree.

We head on over to Wrigley field and he drops me of at the friends and family entrance. I find some of the girls and their families and make myself comfortable. I explain to Farrah that I had begged Anthony to come to the game tonight so if Jon gets upset that he needs to be upset with me.

As the game gets underway I find myself enjoying the Friday night lights under the impeccable Chicago sky. The weather was perfect and I was in love with the way the wind felt against my exposed skin. It's been too long since I was last able to sit out here and enjoy myself.

"Alright" I announce. "I'm going on a drink run. Does anyone want anything" I ask.

"I'll have a water" Jessica says.

"Ohhh a beer please" Jakes wife Brittany says.

"Got it and got it" I assure them.

I grab my wallet and find a concessions stand to order our drinks. I show the guy my ID and he looks at me weird. He does a double take before he finally asks me.

"Did you... did you do something different with your hair" he asks and I laugh.

"Yeah. I needed a change" I admit.

"I like it" he smiles as he gives me my ID back.

"Thanks" I smile back. I didn't need his opinion but it was certainly appreciated.

I balance all of our drinks in my arms and turn around to head back to my seat. I nearly immediately run into someone spilling some of Brittany's beer on the ground but saving most of it.

"Oh crap" I mumble trying to steady my hands.

"My god I am so sorry" the man says and I readjust myself.

"No worries! Just lost a little beer that's all" I laugh.

"Let me get you a new one...

Clara?"

I stop focusing on my drinks to look at whoever it was that somehow knew my name. I look up and see someone I haven't seen since I left my old life. Someone who was a big part of my old life and I was perfectly fine with never seeing again.

"Randy" I ask and the guy nods.

Randy is Eddies police partner, they've been together for four years. They were really good friends and he was over to our house often. But the thing about Randy was that he is a idiot, he didn't see how his friend was a drunken and abusive bastard. He looked and talked to me and truly thought everything was fine. He couldn't tell a dime from a nickel if his life depended on it, but he was the only one who would work with Eddie. The only one stupid enough to do it.

"It's been a while, huh" I ask.

"You know Eddie has been losing his mind looking for you. Every day he asks if I've seen or heard of you. He's been going through security footage and going to houses in Wrigleyville trying to see if anyone has contacted you. He won't say how you went missing but the other day was starting to put out a unofficial missing persons report in the hope to find you" he explains.
