Third Person's POV

Unique

"Bakit ba kasi ganito? Am I doing it wrong?" Donny frustatedly said habang nakatitig sa kisame ng kwarto niya.

"I'm being so nice na nga tapos parang hindi pa rin niya naa-appreciate. She's always mad. She's always yelling at me. God, ano bang mali?" He continued to rant.

He was so frustrated that he began to wrestle with his poor pillow. "Hindi ko na talaga alam." Mahinang sabi nito habang nakadapa naman ngayon sa kanyang kama.

"Di naman ako pangit, diba?" Tanong nito. "Right, Kiwi? I'm actually so good looking. Thanks to my parents' genes." Sa sobrang pagka-frustrate nito ay pati aso niya, bino-bother na niya.

"Hindi ko lang kasi maintindihan kung bakit ang ayos ng pagtrato niya sa ibang lalaki tapos pagdating sakin, parang lagi siyang manununtok." Pagra-rant niya ulit sa inosenteng si Kiwi.

"Kuya," Donny was rolling on his bed when he heard his brother call him outside.

"Why? Bukas yan," Donny lazily said. Pumasok naman ang kapatid niyang si Benjamin sa kwarto niya.

Mukhang nagulat pa ito noong una sa nadatnan niya sa kwarto ng Kuya niya. It looked like a complete disaster.

"What happened?" Benjamin asked.

"Alexandria happened." Donny simply answered.

Benjamin let out a chuckle, "Still her, huh? You're pretty consistent." He mumbled. "Why don't you bring her here? Ahh.. hindi ka nga pala type." Pang-aasar nito sa kuya niya.

Dinampot naman ni Donny yung unan niya at saka hinampas si Benjamin.

"Di ka nakakatulong." Asar na sabi ni Donny. "Labas na nga."

"Why? I'm just stating a fact!" Benjamin said while laughing.

"Ugh, Benj. Seriously, ang lakas na ng tama ko. I don't know what the heck happened. I thought everything's gonna be okay once I get to be closer with her.. pero bakit ganito?"

Benjamin grinned at his brother, "Maybe you're really doing it wrong. Siguro kaya siya naaasar sayo because you have this annoying vibe to her."

"Annoying vibe? Ang bait ko na nga sakanya. I even lowkey showed her off on my instagram and I even cooked lunch for her but those moves doesn't seem to get through her, Benj." Kung kanina ay kay Kiwi siya nagra-rant, ngayon naman ay kay Benjamin na.

"You should be patient with her, Kuya. Not all girls are similar, you know? Kung nasanay ka sa ibang babae na lahat ibibigay sayo, well, ate Alexandria's different. Way different than the others." He stated which made Donny silent for a few seconds.

"Right. She's way too different.. that's why I fell for her. Pretty hard." Donny said while sighing.

Flashback, A year ago

"Let's call it a day. Magpahinga muna kayo." Coach said as he dismissed their team's practice.

"Dons! San ka after?" Dominic asked him. Basketball season na kaya busy na naman sila sa trainings and stuff.

"Don't know. Bahay na siguro, pagod eh." He answered.

"Sure? Birthday ni Kyla ngayon, yung pinsan ko. Pakilala kita!" Pag-aaya ni Dom sa kanya but he just declined.

"Di ko kailangan niyan. Happy birthday na lang sa kanya," He uttered.

"Happily single ka nga pala." Dom jokingly punched Donny's stomach kaya binatukan naman siya ni Donny.

"I'll get going then." Dominic said at saka siya umalis nh gym.

Donny was getting ready to leave nang biglang may babaeng lumapit sa kanya.

"Excuse me," the girl said.

Donny faced her and he was shocked to see a girl wearing a loose shirt and a faded jeans in front of him.

"Ikaw si Donny, diba?" She said while looking at his eyes.

And somehow, Donny found it strange. It was the first time that a girl actually approached him and talked to him calmly, without freaking out.

"Yeah. Why?" He asked. He tried to focus but his mind was elsewhere.

Donny's known to be the campus heartthrob, yung tipong habulin ng babae. Sanay na siyang nagugustuhan siya ng lahat, but this one's different. Parang walang interes sa kanya itong babae sa harapan niya. And in fact, her eyes seem to be looking for someone else in the gym.

"Uhm, pinapatawag ka ni Ma'am Quianes sa room niya. Ngayon na daw." She simply said and coolly turned her back on Donny.

"Wow.. she's unique." He whispered while watching her walk away.
