All I can say is that my day started of great. Like seriously!.
I woke to find a note on the table saying that both of my parents were at work meetings, meaning I had to walk to school. It wasn't a far walk or anything, just the fact that when I would be half way there it will start to rain, never occured to me.
So, here I am, walking, my jumper slowly soaking up the water and my freshly straightened hair becoming a frizzy mess. The only thing protecting my face was the front of my cap.
Suddenly, I couldn't feel the cold rain dripping on my back, looking up I saw a yellow umbrella covering me and to my left was a young asian boy that I may have met before.
"Bit wet, huh?"
"Aren't you a smart little bean Sean ?" I shot back while he laughed at my dripping wet hair. When he didso, I noticed his really cute dimples and poked it with my finger. He immediately stopped laughing and looked at me weirdly. "What? Your dimples are cute" I could have sworn I saw Sean blush but shrugged it of.
"Thanks" he finally mumbled back.
We walked in silence up to the school gates where he realised that the umbrella will only fit if you closed it.
"On the count of three we run for it!"
Sean said reaching to close the umbrella.
"One" I started.
"Two"
"Three!" And just like that the umbrella clsed and the two of us took of sprinting for the school building. Now we were both soaked, Sean a bit less, and laughing hysterically.
The corridors were filled with kids hiding from the rain so naturally making our way to the dance studio was quite the challenge.
The two of us walking together was of course quite the sensation. Word spread quickly of who won the contest and I even overheard some lower years talking about 'the queens'.
That of course and the fact that we were soaked attracted enaugh attention.
Finally getting to the studio after hearing multiple rumors of us dating, I realised that my bag has soaked too, along with my spare clothes.
I threw it into one corner of the room, which was empty except for Sean and I, and began to look through it trying to find a bit of dry clothing. Just as I gave up trying on my own, something gray was thrown on my head. I stood up and turned towards Sean with the thing still on my head.
He just smiled and shrugged his shoulders " You need to wear something, right?"
I looked at the gray hoodie with 'LEWSER' printed on the front. Arching an eyebrow at Sean I asked " Really, lewser?"
"Get, cause it's Sean Lew" he clicked his fingers at me as if he just made the best joke in the world, but I will admitt that I laughed while slipping the hoodie on over my sports bra.
It was a bit large and looked more like a mini dress on me, still comfy though.
Sean walked over and placed a hand on my shoulder, turning the two of us towards the mirror, "See, now you have style" I face palmed and laughed once again.
"Wanna learn one of my dances while we wait?" He asked poking my side. Returning the gesture, I agreed so Sean went over to his phone and turned on a song.
"Keep up" was the last thing he said before we started. After about 15 minutes I found out that the song was called ' Are you there?' and that Sean's style was complicated, like really!
As we were about a quarter way into the routine all our friends walked in chatting but stopped at one and just stared at the two of us.
"What ?" I asked genuinely curious about what they were staring so intently at.
After practically picking his jaw up from the floor Josh finally spoke "Well it's either you are wearing Sean's merch or his actual clothes"
"Oh" forgot about that.
"We'll take option two and to put it simply she was drenched through and through with no spare clothes" Sean responded carelessly as if he gave out his hoodies left and right.
Everyone unfroze and the two groups went to their designated corners. Tagging along behind the girls I managed to hear the boys say things like 'get in there Sean!' and 'smooth going Sean' making me feel the heat in my cheeks .
"Ready to partner up girls?" I teased my friends who despite our little game yesterday, still seemed uneasy with the idea of being so close to their 'celebrity' crushes.
Soon enaugh, Tricia walked in, clapping her hands to tell us to line up.
"So my little kiddos, this week's theme for the dances will be speed. Now we need to learn fast as on friday we are going to a convention that the sponsors of this project have put together. For now we will practice a fast pace group routine to make sure that this program keeps running, next week we will begin the partner work."
We all agreed and thought that just getting to know everybody's style will be beneficial for the partner work. For the next two hours we learned a really fast routine to 'Right beat' nearly finishing the formations by the time we had to pack up.
I walked over to my bag and pulled out the now partially soaked white jumper. As if on impulse when I reached to pull off the 'lewser' hoodie, which the girls still saw as a reason to ship me with Sean, the guy in question shouted "Keep the hoodie for now Rice" hands around his mouth like a speaker.
Repeating the action, surprising all of us, Tahani replied "She wasn't planning on returning it anyway".
Sean gave her a thumbs up while I turned to look at my giggling girlfriends, Bailey looked at me and spoke for them all "We'll teach you how to get the guy KC" I laughed responding with "And I will cave you a way to Kenny's heart", you would not believe how red she went.
"Bye girls" the chorus came from the door with Will bowing before closing it after him.
"Such gentlemen!" Tahani mocked throwing her hands up in the air and making us all laugh in agreement.____________________________________
