Not what I expected ...

Took you long enough

"Tati you've got to see this!"

"Tati's got to see what?" Kaycee had just walked into the canteen only to see her five girlfriends all huddled around Tahani.

They all looked up surprised, relaxing when they realised that Kaycee was the intruder.

Tahani let out a small breath before smirking at her friend "Well now that you're here you might wanna see it too"

"See what?" Kaycee repeated peeking over Tahani's shoulder at her phone where she seemed to be loading some kind of video.

As soon as the video began to play, Kaycee immediately regretted her decision.

"Is that Sean?" Charlize exclaimed a bit too loudly, attracting some attention from the people around them.

"Yes, yes that is him" replied Kaycee, dragging a hand across her face to cover up her blush.

"Oh my gosh, how did I miss that? And the dip! Look at that!" Kaycee slapped a hand over the thoroughly ammused Tati's mouth getting the others to laugh too.

They were interrupted by a light cough and a tap on Bailey's shoulder, turning to see a group of girls who looked no older than ten.

"Um can we help you?" Asked Bailey looking around unsurely.

"We're here on a school trip and wanted to get your autograph" said the girl extending a notepad with all their names written down.

Bailey looked at her friends who all had matching wide eyes and agape mouths.

"Ours?" Receiving eager nods in confirmation the girls signed the notepads, some even receiving hugs from the excited kids.

"What was that?" Mia asked the whole table as they sat down, completely forgetting the video from earlier.

"Maybe because we're in the dance program?" Char shrugged taking a sip of her smoothie, the others responding with similar shrugs.

They went on with lunch as usual, Kaycee and Bailey pulling out their math work while the rest of the girls were on their phones.

Suddenly, Tati's head jolted up, a confused expression on her face.

"Am I the only one hearing 'What's the move?' right now?" She asked looking around the canteen.

"Hearing what?"

"The song that the boys used for their DanceOn vid, Kayc!" Now that she had said that, upon listening in the others began to hear it too and it was gradually getting louder.

"Oh come on! It's a Monday, why is everything so weird? " Bailey threw her hands up in the air right before the first words of the song sounded 'Girl what's the move?' but something about them was off.

"Is that Ken's voice?"

The lights dimmed and the six boys started walking from the ends of the six paths making tons of their fans squeal and scream.

"Kaycee, turn around but slowly" Bailey told her while looking behind her friend.

"All turn around on three" Kaycee suggested.

"One"

"Two"

"Three"

The six quickly spun in their seats only to see the boys completely ignore their fans and continue their way to the middle.

"I have a weird feeling they're comming here" Char said to the others still looking at Josh who was dancing towards her.

"Same"

'I wanna be the one that holds you and make you feel good' the boys were now in front of them dancing which made the girls laugh.

As the song came to a stop, the boys simultaneously appologised while the student body cheered and awwwed at the group.

Tati and Mia were blushing beyond belief , "Did you do this just to say sorry? You sang in front of everybody just for that?" Tati managed to get out.

"Well you did tell us to try harder" Sean explained making himself and Kaycee laugh.

"Aww, that's so sweet! " Tati gushed wordlessly looking at the rest of the girls for their oppinion.

As soon as all the nods were received, Tati, Tahani, Bailey and Mia threw themselves at the boys, squeezing them in a bone crushing hug while Charlize opted for a lighter hug with Kaycee simply remaining seated and smiling at her friends' little reunion.

"Do I get a hug?" Sean asked giving her the puppy eyes with a grin that showed his dimples.

"I don't know..." Kaycee teased tapping her chin.

Sean lent down to whisper in her ear "I did tell you that I don't take no for an answer, didn't I?"

At the feeling of his hot breath on her ear Kaycee shivered getting a chuckle out of Sean before he easily picked her up in a spinning hug.

"Put me down!" she yelled still laughing.

"One more thing" everyone quietened and looked expectantly at Gabe "well um, Tati I am not the greatest with words but, I still wanted to ask you and this is like a great moment and-"

"Gabe, you're rambling" Tati told his blantly.

"Ok, get it together Gabe, Iwantedtoaskifyouwouldbemygirlfriend?" Gabe opened one eye to see a confused Tati.

"Say that again?"

"Tatiana, Gabriel here is rightfully asking for you to be his girlfriend" Kaycee translated Gabe's words acting as a minister for the two.

"That.." Gabe nodded.

Everyone around the table was shocked but were quickly turning their faces to expectant ones.

"Tati do you take Gabriel as your boyfriend?" Kaycee continued looking at her overjoyed best friend who was already on the verge of tears.

"Of course!" Cheers errupted from everyone in the hearing distance as Gabe hugged Tati by the waist lifting her of the ground.

"That looks like you and Sean" Tahani whispered to Kaycee who was smiling at two of her best friends.

"Stop it" Kaycee playfully slapped Tahani on the arm making the later laugh. While she did so, Kaycee did steal a look behind her at the boy in question, who seemed to be going through the same kind of teasing from his own friends.

Were they really as much of a couple as Tahani described them to be?
