"Yeah, bye dad thanks!" Kaycee yelled at the phone through the speaker as to not get it covered in paint.

"So?" Sean's hand left a print on Kaycee's already colourfull shoulder.

"Well they aren't home either so I'm clear to stay here" said Kaycee smiling at the boy beside her.

"At least now we're clear on one thing..." Sean trailed of looking down at his dirty clothes.

"...right..." Kaycee mumbled replicating Sean's actions.

"Not to worry though, Mr Lew is a great host" Sean stepped away, facing Kaycee before bowing with the fake posh voice "He can easily show you to the nearest washroom" Kaycee laughed along with Sean, rolling her eyes.

"All talk aside, there's a shower next to my room upstairs and one on the other end of the hall that my parents use, so you can go to the one near my room" Sean explained casually yet keeping the serious tone in his voice.

Kaycee looked down, rubbing her hand over her arm, not quite knowing how to phrase her next words. Sean bent down slightly to see her face, asking slightly concerned "Everything alright?"

"Ye, um, I don't think-I'm not sure- like um, basically I don't have any spare clothes to change into" she finally finished releasing  a loud breath.

Her friend looked at her blankly for a second before bursting out laughing "Don't worry, you can borrow one of my shirts. It's fine come on" he swung an arm over her shoulder, squeezing it slightly to comfort Kaycee.

A slight smile danced on her lips as the two walked upstairs, on the way hearing that Sean's mom was leaving  for some work thing, leaving the house in the hands of the two teens.

"My bathroom is that way, you can grab a shirt from the next room down" Sean motioned to the two doors on the left.

"Thanks" the two parted ways with Kaycee's shower turning off first giving her a chance to get some clean clothes. Inside, Sean's room was a lot less minimalistic and clean than the rest of the house, but still quite comfortable and cute.

She went over to the wardrobe and pulled out a black long sleave shirt, pulling it over her head. It was slightly long, reaching nearly up to her knees. Kaycee went over to sit on the couch against one of the walls and as she did so, a whift of Sean's scent was brought to her nose from the shirt she was wearing.

Smiling Kaycee took another breath of the pine and honey scent before shaking her head and pulling out her phone.

There were tons of messages from the girls striking Kaycee with the memory that her and the girls were supposed to have a sleepover at Bailey's house.

"Dang it!" She whispered before hastily saying that she was busy and couldn't get there on time.

"Don't mind me I need a shirt too" Sean came bursting into the room with his back to Kaycee, seeming lost, searching through all of his draws.

"Where was it" he turned to face Kaycee scratching the back of his head before his eyes fell upon the girl who had just what he was looking for.

"You okay?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, willing herself not to look down at Sean's toned torso.

"Well it seems like we both have a similar style sense because I was also planning on wearing that shirt"

"Oh" a small blush rose on the girl's cheeks before she recomposed herself and looked Sean in the eye only to see him smirk down at her.

"Kayc, I know I'm handsome you don't have to be embarassed about it" a pillow flew straight at Sean's face making both him and Kaycee laugh.

"Shut up and put a shirt on"

"Yes mam" Sean saluted making Kaycee chuckle again.

"So what do you wanna do?" asked Sean jumping on the other end of the couch nearly sending Kaycee flying.

"Scared me! I don't know, I'm kinda hungry" she shrugged.

"Are you actually?" Kaycee nodded before Sean stood up extending a hand for her. "Then chef Lew to your service"

The two had been in the kitchen for about 20 minutes with Sean doing the work and Kaycee sitting on top of the counter, occasionally asking questions.

"Never knew you were a cook"

"Well now you do" Sean replied turning around to place something on the counter next to Kaycee, instead ending up face to face with the said girl.

It was silent for a few moments, the two lost in one another's eyes before Kaycee hopped of the counter saying that she wanted to get her water bottle from the garage.

As soon as she was out of sight Sean placed his hands on the table releasing a heavy breath "Get it together Sean!"  before a phone buzzing distracted him.

Kaycee had left her phone unlocked so Sean easily got on her instagram, but instead of posting anything, he went to his rescent photo where the comnents section was blowing up.

Kaycee came back in to see that Sean had replaced her, sitting on the counter laughing at...her phone?

"Hey?" She waved a hand in front of him snatching her phone.

"Oh yeah, dinner's ready"

"That's delicious!" Kaycee commented sitting across from the chef.

"I tried" Sean grinned at how happy Kaycee looked before finishing of his own meal."Up for a game of cards?"

Kaycee's head instantly jolted up at the mention of her favourite game "You bet!"
