"And that's a wrap! We did it boys!" Alex went around high fiving the exhausted boys who were currently at their shoot location. "Alright get changed and the minibus will take you back to school" .
The mood changed as soon as Alex left and all the boys knew why. It was the feeling that something, or more like someone, was missing.
"Should we apologise to the girls?" Josh blurted out while pulling a hoodie on. After a few moments of silence he turned to see his friends giving him shocked looks.
"What?"
"For what Josh? We did nothing wrong, they're just jealous because while they sing in school we become dance stars." Gabe explained with a smile on his face.
"True but Sean don't you think you went a bit far in the canteen?" Josh turned to face his friend's back as Sean still didn't turn to look at the boys.
"Josh, mate, they publically humiliated us so I only see it as our duty to do the same to them" he shrugged putting on a careless look while internally screaming to agree with Josh. He had cried when he got home that day, punching his pillows and walls all in guilt of calling the girls what he did.
He was especially angry with himself for making Kaycee upset to the point of tears. It killed him to see her cry but he had to compose himself because he knew full well that Ken, Will and Gabe wouldn't back down.
"I actually have an idea" Will said attracting everyone's attention. "You know we have that art project thing that we do at the same time as them, right?" He didn't need to say a word more as the group had already cought up. Oddly both Sean and Josh had a great urge to go through with the plan, even if it went against their own oppinions. A loud honk brought them all back to reality.
"Come on boys, don't want to miss our chance at the master plan!" Kenneth exclaimed, fist pumping the air making the others laugh at him.
"Lets drop our stuff of at the dance studio?" Will suggested upon arrival at school.
The dance studio was right down the hall from the music room so on their way there the boys managed to hear singing.
They were mesmerised, it was beautiful singing of some girls but they couldn't understand who yet. Luckily for them, there was a glass fill in on the door allowing them to see inside...
Surprise isn't enough to describe how the boys felt on seeing the people inside. Astonishment would be more like it.
Inside sat their five former friends, Tati being the one currently singing, "Most girls, are smart and strong and beautiful" she sang with Char taking over for her.
It may have been minutes or hours but the boys still stood there, completely forgetting to drop of their bags and not noticing the door click open until someone coughed behind them.
The five looked like deers in the headlights when they realised that they had been spotted spying on the girls.
Instead of making a conversation the girls simply laughed at them before retreating towards the art rooms.
"Did they laugh at us?"
"Oh they're getting it in art!"With the girls...
"Were they really staring at us?" Bailey laughed as she sat down with the group at one of the two round tables in the art room.
"Yeah! Can you imagine! They won't last long until they come crawling back to us" Tahani said with an excited jump in her step.
Then suddenly Kaycee went quiet "Wait, I realised something"
"What is it K-" just then the five objects of their conversation strutted into the room with smirks plastered on their faces.
"They're in this class too" Kaycee finished crossing her arms in annoyance.
The boy squad, as they liked to be called now, were bombarded by fans asking about their shoot.
Speaking honestly, the girls had forgotten all about that, not that they cared too much anyway.
"Can we get on with the lesson?" Bailey shouted at the group.
"Calm down Miss Teacher's pet Sok" Ken mocked her while walking by.
"Silence class!" Spoke a young woman from the front. "Today you will be using paints to add brightness and power to a piece of work. You have an hour" most of the class rushed to pick their paints while the two back tables stayed seated.
"So I'll get the paints so we don't have to push around in the crowd" Bailey suggested with the others accepting the offer.
The boys waited until the whole class was busy before getting up to pick up random paints.
"Ready boys?" They all nodded and began to discreetly walk towards the girls table where Kaycee had her head placed on the table, using her arms as a pillow while the others were too focused on their work to notice their respective dance partners kneel behind their chairs.
Will looked at the teacher's desk and saw no one there, knowing that everything was clear he signalled for Gabe to start.
Gabe slowly opened the lid of the paint can and supressing his laugh, he flicked some paint onto Tati's neck making her gasp.
All the girls looked towards her but before they could understand what had happened, they were all covered in paint.
Kaycee slowly wiped away the blue paint from her eyes and turned around to see the boys rolling on the ground in laughter, pointing at them.
Sean was behind her chair so it was obvious who had drenched her in the colourful substance.
"Oh it's on" she mumbled before grabbing her own tin of yellow paint and pouring all of it's contents on top of Sean's head.
It was silent until the two groups all got the same idea and ran to get more cans of paint for the war that had just errupted.
Gabe, Tati, Ken and Bailey were simply throwning paints at one another, both out of anger and ammusement at seeing everybody's painted faces.
Char and Josh were squirting small tubes of paint at one another while Tahani chased Will in an attempt to smear his face in pink.
Perhaps the most agressive of them were Kaycee and Sean as they were the ones using the most paint, unsurprisingly making a colourful slip and slide out of the floor.
At one point Sean grabbed a liter can of glitter paint making Kaycee take off running out of the class, Sean following.
"Get her Sea-" Will didn't get to finish as he got a facefull of pink from Tahani.
Kaycee wasn't as lucky, she was running as far and fast as she could but whenever she turned her head Sean was behind her.
She turned into the staff hallway only to find a locked door at the end. She turned and pressed her back into the door as Sean approached her with an evil smirk.
"Who do we have here?" He said in a Joker like voice.
"Come on Sean, you don't have to"
"Oh I do " he said pressing her shoulder into the wall with one hand leaving a yellow hand print on her hoodie, not like it mattered anyway as all of their clothes were showered with paint already..
Their faces were inches appart and what could have been a romantic moment for the two, was ruined by Sean pouring the glitter paint over Kaycee's head.
She stood there motionless only hearing the sound of retreating steps before...
"DETENTION!"
