"Oh my, what were you guys doing? Like look..." Sean broke into a laugh pointing his phone at the mortified, red faced Kaycee.
"Come on, it was a party" she mumbled angrily, half smiling and half glaring at her fried who was pointing to all sorts of pictures and videos from the YouTube party.
"Still funny" Sean replied ruffling Kaycee's hair for what felt like the thousandth time. The girl only rolled her eyes , blowing some hair strands out of her face and sliding down the wall of studio X at Millenium, where the two were hanging out before class.
"Hey, you still helping out after class?" Sean asked curiously.
"Of course! Can't wait for what I get in return" she gave Sean an evil grin reminding him of the forfeit.
"Do I have to?"
"Aww, don't whine, you'll look great" just as Kaycee finished her sentence, two dark skinned hands were placed on her shoulders with the signature "Giiiit!" sounding in her ears.
"Hi to you too Josh" she said smiling up at the new addition to the group.
"Hey" he ruffled her hair... multiple times... and laughed at her...with Sean.
"Well you look happy" a new voice said from ahead of Kaycee but she couldn't see clearly through the hair strands. Pulling it into a pony tail she finally got to see a dark haired boy extending his hand for her to shake.
"Julian. Julian de Guzman"
"Kaycee Rice. Do you guys know each other?" The three boys looked at one another before getting on their feet and standing in a line before Kaycee.
Josh cleared his throat "Well Miss Rice, we are proud to present to you the Migos. Coolest people you will ever meet" the three bowed looking quite proud.
"Not sure why but I doubt that" she laughed at the boys' mock offended looks.
As the three walked by her, each one messed up her hair slighlty more than the other, giving her a reason to have to re-do the pony.
"Seriously!" she exclaimed making the boys take off running to the other side of the room.
After class...
"That was amazing!" Willdabeast exclaimed as the last group, the Migos, finished their dance. "Collect your stuff kids! Thank you for the class!"
"That was hilarious" Jade and Kaycee were still laughing at Sean and Josh's parts in their 'I'm Better' dance.
"KC mom's outside!" Sean shouted from where he was packing his bag.
"Be there in a sec" Kaycee turned to say goodbye to Jade only to notice the said girl's mischevious smirk. "No! I'm helping him out with a project" Kaycee swatted Jade's arm sending the two into a round of giggles before Kaycee hugged the older girl and ran to where Sean was holding a door open for her.
"Thank you kind gentleman" she teased, barely avoiding Sean's hand from touching her hair. "Naa, not again" she said.
"There she is" Sean pointed to a gray car where his mom sat.
"Hello Mrs Lew" Kaycee greeted the woman politely, getting in the back seat while Sean got in the front.
"Oh call me Miya, Sean has told me lots about you" she responded casually, starting the car.
"He has?" Through one of the mirrors Kaycee saw Sean go red, making her cover her face with her hand to stop herself from laughing.
The Lew house was awesome! Kaycee was in awe upon walking in, looking at the clean white walls and the minimalistic design.
"Kayc?" Sean snapped his fingers in front of Kaycee's face, smiling at how lost she looked. "Let's go to the garage, everything's set up" the girl could only nod following her friend.
Now the garage had more of a Sean feel, everything was all over the place, with the only clean bit being the floor in the middle.
"Cool drop your bag there and we can start" said Sean turning on some misic on his laptop.
There was a section of the froor covered in newspapers with two t-shirts and buckets of paints on top.
"So what's the plan?" Kaycee asked kneeling down .
"Well" Sean started , kneeling on the opposite side of Kaycee "I was thinking of doing like a marble effect on the shirts but really it's whatever you feel like" he shrugged.
"Lets do my part first" Kaycee suggested seeing a box of hair product on the counter along the wall.
"Noooooooo!" Sean whined falling to the floor dramatically, which still didn't stop Kaycee from dragging him across the floor.
"You've gotta do it" Sean finally sat himself on a chair as Kaycee pulled on some gloves and squeezed the contents of the tube into her hand.
"Now or never Lew" with that Kaycee's hands went to Sean's hair , slowly turning it from black to silver.
"Sean stop looking in the mirror! We have shirts to paint" Kaycee laugjed at Sean who had been in front of the bathroom mirror for around 20 minutes, admiring his hair.
"I like it Rice, thanks" he said proudly, praising Kay.
"Well thanks to you but the shirts are still waiting"
"Oh yeah"
The pair had been painting shirts in yellow and gray for a quite a bit of time, silently enjoying each others company and the activity at hand. That was until Kaycee felt a yellow pair splash hit her face.
She slowly looked up to see Sean failing to hide a grin.
"Bring it" was all she said.
Everything started with simple paint splashes but quickly turned into a full out fight, similar to the one they had in school earlier in the term.
"Ah that's cold!" Kaycee jumped as a trail of paint went down her back.
"What's going on here?" The two teens slowly turned to face Miya who had her arms at her hips, looking at the mess in the room.
"A paint war?" Sean said, comming out more as a question, just as a paint droplet hit the floor with a loud splash.
Miya rubbed her forehead before waving her hand for the two to clean up.
Kaycee and Sean remained standing there for a while until Sean broke the silence.
"Hey Kayc, do you wanna stay over?" He asked.
"What?" Kaycee looked at him strangely.
"Like over for the night, cause no one's taking you home like that" he said pointing at Kaycee's gray hair "and we have a shoot tomorrow so I still have to pick you up really early"
"I don't have a choice do I ?" Sean smiled innocently at Kaycee before clapping his hands , sending paint all across the room.
