I closed my eyes feeling tears stream down my cheeks, hitting my lips and those of the boy in front of me. The salty taste of tears made him pull away right at the moment when the stair case to the left of us creeked. Shoot!
He smiled at me but I couldn't return the gesture, pushing his hands away and running in hopes to get out of the house. One problem...the party was still in full motion.
Weaving my way through numerous mildly drunk teens I was nearly at the door when a small hand grabbed onto my wrist. Soon after several others joined it, pulling me away from the door and out onto the dance floor.
A crowd formed all around and soon I saw the boys pushing Sean out as well. We looked at one another smiling but it was all fake. He saw the tears, I saw the hurt but neither of us wanted the other too see.
It looked as if he was about to speak but the moment was broken when Party by Chris Brown came on.
"Go!" Sean and I simmultaneously broke into the dance we'd learned with Will despite both knowing that something wasn't right.
The crowed cheered and whistled finally bringing a smile to my face but just as I was about to hug Sean I noticed he had already left. Luckily Tati and Gabe quickly took over the floor meaning that not many people would have noticed the awkward situation.
Pushing through I tried to follow Sean, but when I found him I realised how terrible of an idea that was. He was leaning on a wall with one arm, the other bringing a girl closer to him by the waist.
I swear I saw him look back but I didn't stay long enough to check as I ran to the door avoiding any of my friends on the way.
Mom was right, I should've stayed at home...
By the time I got to my house I could already feel my tears staining the hood of my jumper.
"Where have you been?" I slowly turned to see both of my parents standing in the doorway with scolding looks. Upon seeing the dry tear stains on my face as I came into light, my mom's face morphed into one of concerned and she ran straight to me, pulling me into a tight hug. That was all it took for me to break down in tears.
It felt like hours had passed, which they probably have, when my dad had taken me to my room after he realised that through the tears I wouldn't explain anything.
Why.... why.... why in the world was it me that got to lose my first kiss to someone I barely knew AND have to see the boy I potentially liked flirt with somebody else, all in one night?

ReadRight now isn't the right time for me to deal with any of them. But what did Ken mean?
...Monday morning...English...
Monday came around quickly and ever since the party I haven't spoken to any of my friends, not gonna lie I wasn't up to it today either.
That was part of the reason why I decided to sit in the back corner of the class. Tahani and Tati usually sit in the front so I have no doubt that they wouldn't even think of looking back. To make sure of that I threw my hood over my head the moment I noticed them walk in.
"Where's Kaycee?" I heard Tati ask before she was told to 'shut it' by our teacher. She was similar to our geography teacher except she was in class full time staring at everyone BatMan style.
"Today class you will be preparing a revision booklet that you can use in the test...." I zoned out quite quickly because of my phone vibrating in my pocket. It was Sean.
Shamu the steamed milk boy
Why'd you leave the party?
As if you don't already know
It looked like you were having fun with your boyfriend
What the heck do you mean?
And you're one to talk
Flirting with like seven girls at once
What do I mean?!?!
"Miss Rice?" damn it, I've been spotted.
"Yes Mrs Adison?" out of the corner of my eye I saw Tati and Tahani giving me worried looks and motioning for me to hide the phone.
"I will have that " too late. "Lets see what's so important that Rice chose over my lesson" she announced scrolling through my phone.
"You can't do that!" Tati jumped up in my defence but I honestly wasn't too bothered, it would get leaked sooner or later.
"Shamu the steamed milk boy?" the teacher read confused making a few people turn to look at me odd and others laugh. "Strange things you are teens..."Mrs Adison proceeded to read out the whole conversation to the class. Every now and then I would hear someone wince, probably having figured out who ' Shamu the steamed milk boy' was.
With every word she repeated I got progressively angrier until I couldn't take it anymore. I stood up grabbing my bag, knocking over my stool, and stormed to the front, snatching my phone from the teacher's hand and leaving the class.
To my luck the bell went of filling the hallways with students, leaving Mrs Adison no chances of finding me.
Behind me I could hear faint shouts of the girl squad, who most likely already knew that something was about to go down.
Oh how right they were...
