Not what I expected ...

Deja Vu

"LEW!" heads turned as a red faced Kaycee stormed towards the center table of the canteen where Sean was sat with the boys, Bailey, Char and a blonde girl by his side. They all looked beyond confused and agitated, well except Sean and whoever sat beside him.

"What the hell is your problem?" Kaycee slammed her hands on the table in front of Sean making him flinch at the noise.

"My problem? I think I should be the one asking you that!" Sean too got up, with a look of anger to match Kaycee's.

"Oh nothing, just the fact that one minute you're helping me sneak out all nice and sweet then out of nowhere, next thing I know you're flirting with girls left and right completely ignoring me!" the rest of the hall was silent, the occupants of the middle table looking completely lost.

"But why would you need me Rice? You have a boyfriend to comfort you now!" a collective gasp came from the girls who were at the table along with Mia who had just joined them.

"What?" Kaycee scrunched up her eyebrows shaking her head only earning a chuckle from the boy across from her.

"Don't act stupid, I saw you and Jack kiss at Julian's party !" another round of gasps, accusing fingers and judgemental looks were all now directed at Kaycee who simply raised her eyebrows at Sean.

"Are you serious? Just because of that my best friend turns away from me when I most need him?"

"Just!?! It isn't -"

"If you would've bothered to look and not assume things you would've seen that I wasn't responding to the kiss, more so I was crying! If you looked you could've helped me! I didn't want to kiss him, it was Jack that started it. Instead of turning away like you did and purposefully going out of your way to hurt me, you could have spoken to me about it! " at this point Kaycee was full on yelling at Sean, moving closer with tears streamind down her face. Sean, taken aback, had an extremely guilty face and seemed on the verge of tears as well.

"Kay ..." Kaycee quickly brushed of Tahani's hand, giving Sean one last dirty look before running out, leaving the whole canteen stunned.

Slowly everyone turned back to Sean who had fallen back in his seat and placed his head in his hands, completely ignoring the blonde beside him.

"Sean?" Bailey leant down only to see a few tears hit the table making her gasp. Bailey quickly ran around the table to comfort him but, much like Kaycee did with Tahani, Sean brushed her of.

"Alright I'll be back" everyone looked shocked at Ken who on his way out took Julian with him.

"So what are we doing?" Julian asked as the two walked towards the court yard.

"We're completing plan Seaycee" Julian looked confused until Ken pointed out to the court, where Kaycee sat by the wall.

As the two neared they began to hear mumbling and soft sobs of the girl.

Ken and Julian wordlessly sat down on either side of the girl making her look up.

"What do you want?" She asked briskly.

"Tell" was all Ken said.

"Seriously I'm fine, there's nothing to tell-"

"Now" Julian spoke, both boys looking ahead of themselves.

"Ok but you asked for it" she took a deep breath and continued "I met this guy Jack at the party who said he was Sean's friend. Somehow we ended up upstairs and he kissed me. After the whole dance thing with Sean, I saw him being all flirty with some girl and so I ran of" unnoticed by Kaycee, the two boys smirked at one another over her head.

"So?"

"So now apparently Sean knows about the kiss" Kaycee wiped her eyes with her sleaves.

After a second or two Ken's eyes widened followed by Julian's.

"Wait so Jack was his friend?"

"Yeah"

"Now he knows the truth"

"Where are you going with this?"

"He's mad at Jack now"

"Sh*t!"

"I second that"

"I third that!" at once the trio bolted up, sprinting back to the canteen only to be met with a commotion in the main hallway.

"I'm guess we found them" Ken said following Kaycee who was already trying to push her way through the thick crowd.

"Excuse me!" she yelled at somebody, pushing them out of the way, ending up right at the front.

On the opposite side she saw the girls attempting to hold Gabe and Josh back, who were enraged looking at the scene in front of them.

Sean and Jack were rolling on the floor, throwing punches and screaming at one another. Sean had rolled Jack over, grabbing him in a headlock.

Kaycee looked at the two both helpless and annoyed.

"Sean!" the boy turned to look at Kaycee who shook her head, making Sean loosen his grip on his opponent. Jack took the opportuninty to slip out from Sean's grip sending a punch at his gut.

"No!" Kaycee dodged Julian's arms and ran towards the two boys, pulling Jack away from Sean by the back of his coat.

"Stop it you two!"

The blonde who was with Sean earlier ran towards him, trying to help him get up.

"Kaycee..." Jack went in to hug Kaycee but the girl put her arms out to stop him.

"What the heck is going on?" she asked looking between the two boys.

"That one just came running and shouting at me something about 'hurting his girl' !" Jack spat, Kaycee's eyes widening at the last words. "I had to protect myself you know" Kaycee noded numbly still staring at Sean.

Jack came up next to her, looping an arm around her waist, making Kaycee snap out of her thoughts. "Come on he isn't worth our time"

"Yeah, Seany don't bother with them" just as Jack started pulling Kaycee from the scene, Sean ripped his arm from the blonde and caught Kaycee's wrist instead. Unprepared, Kaycee was quickly snatched from Jack, Sean spinning her around and pulling her into him by the waist.

"What are you doing?"

"Killing two birds with one stone" Sean smirked before quickly capturing Kaycee's lips in a kiss, sending an uproar of in the crowd.

Unlike Jack's kiss though, it didn't take Kaycee long to respond, wrapping her arms around Sean's neck while the blonde girl ran of crying and Jack shoved out of the circle and into the crowds.

Will and Gabe ran around yelling 'Seaycee' creating a chant amongst those who were watching. Unfazed by any of this were Sean and Kaycee who had long since pulled away from one another and were now looking at each other with goofy grins.

"You're an idiot Sean Lew"
