Three Empty Words

NAME: Darcy

CHRIS' POV:

  I'll pick you up at the same time
At the same place, the same old drive
We'll just talk about our day
To try to fill the awkward space tonight
We'll play the songs we used to love
While we try to fall in love again
We don't know who's wrong or right
We don't even care enough to fight  

I feel like we are not in love with each other, we do the exact same thing everyday, it's boring, when we speak it's awkward silence. It is not how it used to be.

  We're going through the motions
Cause we can't fix what's broken
And I know it's gonna hurt
But darling I'll go first
Cause I won't keep on saying those three empty words
No, I won't keep on saying those three empty words  

We go through kissing, eating together, going on dates, etc. We never did anything new and Darcy doesn't want to say anything cause she says she loves me. I love her but not in love with her. I love you is three empty words. "CHRIS! Seriously, you leave your boxers on the ground that's dirty!" said Darcy. "Darcy! Seriously! I was going to pick them up!" said Chris She frowns and walks off. This is how our life is!

  We're still talking everyday
I'm running out of things to say to ya
What's really gonna break my heart
Is to have to tell your little brother
It might be easier to stay
But it'll never be the same, no, oh no
And if something doesn't change
Then we'll keep on sinking further  

We still talk but we talk about useless things! I am running out of things to say. I want it to change but if it doesn't what will I do. "Baby I love you" smiled Darcy. "I love you too" said Chris. "Hey wanna go to the cinema again today" said Darcy. I nod. But if we ever tell her brother we broke up, he'd be heartbroken.

We can't stay together. I have to break up with her. "Darcy.... I think we have to break up. I keep saying those three empty words. I am sorry but I can't say it when we fight. We need to break up. I will move out and you can live here." said Chris. I get all my stuff and leave. I get to Richard's house. "You can stay here for as long as you want" said Richard. I smile and man hug him. 

Three months later

I have started dating Lydia, and I feel all sparks with her. I love her. She is amazing. She loves me and our fight is normal. I spot Darcy. She comes over. "Chris I still love you" said Darcy. "I love Lydia now, Darcy. I love you was empty words and with Lydia I mean I love you!" said Chris. She nods and leaves. 

Me and Lydia get married.
