Your best friends and secretly like each other

Me and Erick are best friends. We have been for 17 years. Is it bad I love him? He would never love me, a loser like me. I turn on Good Girls by 5SOS and get dressed. Today I'm hanging with Erick. On the beach. I put on a top, shorts, kimono, sandals and my floral pattern bikini. I put my hair in a french braid with some hair loose and I smile. I look hot. No make up. I pack a bag and then go downstairs to wait for Erick.

Erick just walks in. "Come on Brynn" said Erick. I just smile and grab my stuff and lock the house. We get in his car and he drives us to the beach. I sing along to On My Own by Niall Horan and Erick just laughs at me. I give him the middle finger. "Brynn, you bloody nutter" said Erick. "What? You don't like my singing?" asked Brynn, teasingly. "I love it, but people are gonna think your drunk" said Erick. I just slap his arm. "Eh, at least I'm fun" said Brynn. He chuckles. 

We get there and grab our stuff and run down to the sand. We put our towels down and sit down. "Hey Erick, some girls are looking at you" said Brynn. He looks up and winks at them. I look down and look at my phone. DING. Joel is texting me.

No, his currently winking at some girls, he doesn't like me, Joel

"Why are you giving kisses to Joel?" asked Erick. "Because I want to" said Brynn. "Do you like him?" asked Erick, getting angry. "No. I don't like him, Erick." said Brynn. "Then why give him kisses?" asked Erick. "That's how I text! Can you drop it" said Brynn. He nods. I just look away. The girls come over and they start talking. I take my shorts and top off. Along with my sandals and go down to the water. I look back and Erick is staring at me. I just look away and keep walking into the sea. I finally start swimming.

He comes down. "Can we walk? Joel and the lads arrived, their watching our stuff" said Erick. "Sure, lets go" said Brynn. "Look, I love you" said Erick. "I love you too" said Brynn. "No, I love you.... meaning I'm in love with you" said Erick. I stare at him and stop walking. "Y-you feel t-the w-way?" asked Brynn. "You love me too?" asked Erick. I kiss him. "Yes, doofus, how could I not?" asked Brynn. We kiss again and hear the lads cheering for us. "Guess I'm asking you to be my girlfriend?" asked Erick. "Yes" smiled Brynn. We kiss and well that's our story, how we told each other are feelings.
