Chapter 2: Finding answers

PAIGES POV

I was just brushing my hair and thinking about how cute koalas are when I heard Chloe’s name come from Josh’s room and then I heard a crash and when I rushed in he looked like he was sleeping on the floor! When he finally opened his eyes he looked shocked to see me standing above him. I asked what happened. He said nothing. But I made a ‘’really’’ face because he is my brother and I know something is up…

BROOKES POV

The doorbell rang. I answered the door it was Nia! "Hey!" I said and led her upstairs. I called out Paige but she didn’t answer? Me and Nia went to find her. We checked Josh’s room and found her but… it was weird. She was standing over him and chanting over and over "I WANT AN ANSWER AND I WANT IT NOW AND I MEAN NOW I SAY!" I looked at Nia and we both walked in.

JOSHS POV

 All of a sudden I woke up from my Chloment [that’s what I call the moments when I faint because of her heavenly face] and then I saw Paige standing above me. Then out of nowhere she started asking ‘’Do you like Chloe?’’ and ‘’Do you think Chloe’s hot?’’ or  ‘’Is Chloe your soul mate?’’! But mainly ‘’Are you in love with Chloe Lukasiak?’’!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW ON EARTH DID SHE FIND OUT! BROOKES POV

Josh wanted me to come into the hallway so I followed him out. He started to scream at me. "HOW COULD YOU HOW HOW HOW I TRUSTED YOU WHY DID YOU TELL PAIGE IM IN LOVE WITH CHLOE? WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said it wasn’t me but he didn’t believe me. I had to swear on the bible before he believed me. Nia and Paige ran out to us and they said what’s going on? I looked at Nia and paige and then at Josh. He made a face that said ‘’fine’’ and he rolled his eyes. I said Nia and Paige this is information you cannot tell… Josh is in love with…Chloe!

NIAS POV

Me and Paige were waiting for Josh and Brooke to come back but Paige said lets go out and see what’s up. When we got out there we asked what’s going on they both got really quiet and then out of nowhere Brooke told me and Paige that Josh was in love with Chloe. HOW CUTE! But I can’t tell Chloe but the good news is I’m really good at keeping secrets!

PAIGES POV

How could Josh not tell me he was in love with my BFF? I mean he can trust me…right? Ok maybe not but still if he told Brooke why did he not tell me? I am hurt. The doorbell rang. I said I would get it. It was Kendall. I was excited but still she could not have come at a worse time. This house was falling apart!

KENDALLS POV

I was super excited to sleepover! After I put my stuff down I heard screaming and people questioning someone? I asked if we could go up and Paige went silent. She looked at me then upstairs. She rolled her shoulders back sighed and nodded. We went up and I immediately heard someone who sounded like a girl my age say "Aww it’s so cute and Chloe doesn’t know?". Then someone who sounded like an older girl said "No" and then someone who sounded like a boy said "No she doesent and I would LIKE to keep it that way!" After listening for a little bit more I found out that…OMG…Josh is in love with Chloe! ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paige told me she just found out a few minutes ago. We headed up.

PAIGES POV

Great now Kendall knows I mean the more the merrier right…NOT! Kendall and Nia went to set up their sleeping bags so it was just me my sister and brother. I told Josh there was no hard feelings and he looked right at me and said "Thanks sis." Me Brooke and Josh hugged. Out of no where someone knocked on the door knowing it was going to be the Zeiglers I told everyone in this house to hush up because we can’t talk about Josh’s crush around Maddie…

BROOKES POV

I know why Paige told everyone to hush up… Maddie has a huge crush on Josh! Josh however can’t stand her. If she found out she would get mad at Chloe…not going to happen! I answered the door and Maddie and Kenzie put their stuff down. Maddie saw Josh and threw him a flirty wave and winked. Really Maddie? Me and Paige took Nia Kendall Maddie and Kenzie upstairs.

JOSHS POV

UGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sure Maddie is nice and all but I would never EVER have a crush on her. NEVER! The doorbell rang I walked over and opened it…OH GOD! It was Chloe! I could feel a chloment coming on…no! I held onto the handel. She said "Hi Josh" in that angelic voice. I tried to sound confident and I said "Hi Chloe" come on in. Every time I see that smile I just feel like im going to melt into nothingness. I led her upstairs.
