I was driving in the shotgun seat in Veronica's van that I was familiar with. I heard Betty crying in the back and Jughead comforting her. You could hear Betty moaning from the pain she had. Everything going ok was absolutely horrible. Veronica was driving really fast but we needed to get Betty help, we had to make sure her baby would be ok and Betty was having major blood loss.

We got to the hospital and thankfully there was a row of wheel chairs outside the entrance. Veronica ran over and grabbed one as I helped Jughead assist Betty out the car. I wheeled her in while Jughead held her hand and Veronica talked to the nurses about Betty's situation. The nurses took Betty away from all of us including Jughead. "No, let me go with her." Said jughead almsot in tears. The nurses ushered Jughead away so I just pulled him into a hug to get him away from the nurses and to comfort him. I felt really bad that he had to witness Betty go through so much pain.

It was absolutely horrifying to see my best friend I've know almost my entire life be wheeled into a hospital and be going through so much pain. Betty was really excited for her baby and now her baby could be dead for all I know. Why does she have to go through through so much at such a young age?

Jughead sat down and shoved his face into his shaking and sweaty palms. "You need anything Jug?" I asked him to make sure he was ok. "I just need alone time. Betty will be fine. She is strong." Said jughead. He then got up and walked around the corner. He probably went to the bathroom or in the small church in the hospital. Jughead wasn't religious but if he wanted to be alone would probably it's go there.

Veronica sighed and got up from her chair. She then sat on my lap and straddled me so that so could rest he head directly on my muscular chest. Her black hair covered her tear stained face and I put my hands around her waist to keep her on me. "Do you think the baby will be ok?" Veronica questioned. To be honest, I wasn't sure. I didn't want to scare Veronica so I just said the positive answer. "I think they will both be fine Ronnie." I told her. Her worried wet face and brown eyes met mine. She bowed her head and landed it ok my chest and I dug my head into her lucious hair and kissed her head.

Today had been so horrific I didn't even know what to do with Veronica. She isn't very good with grief. I've been dating her for about 2 years and I think it's safe to say that she doesn't handle situations like these very well.

After a couple minutes of just sitting and praying for Betty and her baby to be okay jughead came back. "You doing ok Jug?" I asked him. I wanted to check in on him. It must be really rough for him. "Ya I'm good." He said back as he adjusted his crown shaped beanie. Jughead moved to a chair and we all sat in silence, waiting for hopefully good news.

We were all sitting quietly in the uncomfortable hospital chair when a doctor came over to us. "Anyone here named Jughead Jones?" The doctor asked. Jughead stood up and answered, "that's me. Is she ok?" The doctor didn't do anything, he just ushered for jughead to follow him.. "Follow me please." He said as he lead Jughead away. I squeezed Veronica's hand praying that everyone would be ok
